Brian, as a first-timer here on THS, was terrific. Before the sit, he asked me what foods I liked and stocked up on fresh fruit and veg for me. When I arrived, he made me feel incredibly welcome. His home is lovely, very clean, and well-organized. When my mom (89) had some significant health challenges while he was away, Brian was very flexible, allowing me to take care of my mom as well as Bella. I will always be grateful to him for his compassion. The guest room is quiet and comfortable and the bed has an amazing mattress. I got great sleep even with Bella cozying up throughout the night. Bella is a sweet, easy, adorable pup and a very early riser. Getting meds into her could be challenging but every other moment of the day with her was a gift. I’ve missed her since the moment I left! Brian’s home is located just a few minutes’ drive from South Shore Plaza (a large beautiful shopping mall), major highways, and supermarkets. As long as you don’t go during commuter hours, downtown Boston (and all its sights) is 30 mins and Wollaston Beach is just 20. I would definitely housesit for Brian again if the opportunity presents itself.
