Introduction

My (recently retired) husband and I enjoy traveling, sometimes for a long weekend, other times for a week or two. We have a high energy, 6 year old American Staffordshire Terrier named Tessie, who would benefit from a great relationship with a dog-loving sitter. Although we have boarded her in the past and never had any serious issues, without the opportunity to burn off her energy she can quickly become bored and even anxious. At home she takes full advantage of our 1+ acre yard (with Invisible Fence) dividing her time between scanning the yard for deer and squirrels, chasing deer and squirrels, and napping after said chasing. Having a friend or family member stay with her has proven to be the best option for Tessie, but we don't always have someone available when needed. We ask that our sitter not bring along their own pet. Please be aware our home and location are not appropriate for children Our sitter would have full use of our newly renovated home on the Herb River marsh just south of Savannah proper. If you are an early riser you can catch the sun rise over the tidal marsh. Although we do not have a dedicated work space, we do have high speed internet and several spaces suitable for setting up a work station, including our screened porch with a marsh view. If you are a bird lover, you will be in for a treat! Herons, egrets, gulls, cormorants are frequent visitors to this part of the river.
