Retired from the newspaper industry, now I focus on writing poetry and fiction. Mother of two, grandmother of three and now the great grandmother of a nearly three-year old girl, I am ready to do more traveling to visit family and friends. But my 13-year-old cat has health issues and needs care.

My condo has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The building has an outdoor pool, small gym and sauna. It is within walking distance of the North Quincy MBTA station but it its a 15 minute walk. The pool closes on Labor Day for the year and won't be open until July due to construction. Wollaston Beach is a 15 minute walk and my building sits next to the Neponset River.

My cat needs special prescribed food which I supply. She eats a can a day of Hills Urinary Care CD wet food - divided into small portions about every three hours during the day to avoid her having an upset stomach. She will sleep on my bed if I allow it but sometimes I close the door at night to get a full night's sleep.

This single-night stay was added on to a longer week-long stay that I am in the middle of as of writing this. Off to a great start, Pat was welcoming and laid everything out clearly for me upon arrival. Baby has been a very sweet housemate!
