In search of new bestie for Nena and Cleo!
Introduction
We are Rach Louis, Nena and Cleo living in Central Luton. We have an almost 5 year old adopted Maltalier who came home with me from Australia during 2020. New to our family is Cleo, our rescue cat from Egypt. She pretty much moved in , fit in and is now the boss. Nena is an absolute people mad dog. She loves meeting new people, having cuddles on the sofa and going for nice walks in and around Luton where we have some amazing parks. She also loves to play with her ball and eat lots of snacks. She needs one decent walk a day. Nena isn't keen on trains and can't be left for longer than 4 hours, so please don't apply if you're looking to be in Central London alot. Nena has a dog walker twice a week where she is taken out in a group for a longer walk midweek. Cleo is very chill 90 percent of them time, but the other 10 percent she spends waiting to pounce in our legs to play. She's an indoor cat and very independent, but she does love a cuddle. Louis and I are looking to travel more, as we go to a lot of gigs and festivals around Europe. We would love to build a relationship if possible with a regular sitter, though this is not always possible. Louis plays in 2 bands and I enjoy the same music. In addition to this, I love travelling to new cities and am itching to get away now covid restrictions have ceased.

We have a lovely brand new 2 bedroom flat on the first floor with lovely communal gardens out the back. Sitters are welcome to use all our facilities and sleep in our main bedroom. The house is fully equipped, but we asked that no one smokes inside the property. We also have outdoor seating and a BBQ you are welcome to use. It is a suburb close to Round Green and Stopsely which has a number of lovely cafes, restaurants, pubs to choose from. We are also within walking distance to People's Park, Wardown Park and Dunstable which are great for longer strolls, wildlife spotting, and of course dog walking. Luton has its own airport a 10 min drive away and the train to London takes around 25mins

In the morning, Nena needs a quick walk for the toilet around 8am. Here she goes to the toilet for wee and poop. After this we cook her breakfast. Lunchtime we go for an hours walk during the week, or longer if we are not working. 5pm Nena has a another wee break. If the weather is nice, we will go for another longer walk. She then has dinner and another toilet break around 9.30pm before bed. We have fresh water out alll day and also biscuits for her to eat, as well as specific treats. She can't be left alone for more than 3 hours. Doesn't like trains much so please dont expect to. Be able to use our home as a base for London tourism Cleo will just have biscuits...we leave them out all day.

I stayed here for 20 days, looking after Nena. This was an easy sit. From the get-go, Rach and Louis were efficient and thorough with communication. Nena is very well-behaved, and I’m not going to lie; I became *quite* attached to her. She is the sweetest, most affectionate, chill little pup ever. Be warned: she will steal your heart! My gosh, she’s so cute! The train station is a short walk away, there is a lovely strand of three parks nearby, and I felt super safe in the neighborhood. Louis and Rach’s flat was super cozy and well-fitted, with everything I needed to be comfortable. I felt welcomed and settled in easily. Nena is as soft as a cuddly toy and loves to be curled up in your lap whenever permitted. She slept in my lap for nearly every Zoom call I had, and I often woke up in the morning with her head on the same pillow as mine. We walked off-lead with no trouble and had several adventures together. She gets nervous on the train but otherwise travels very well. I would snatch any opportunity to care for her again!
