Lovely Norwegian cat, calm dog need care in apartment close to nature, alps view

Introduction

Hello, We are Sandrine and Philippe, the happy best friends of Angelo, our 9-year-old dog, who looks like a cross between a Labrador and a hunting dog, and Hakoon, our 11-year-old Norwegian cat, who is an adorable ball of fur. We're in our fifties, sporty and nature lovers. Our flat is unusual in that it's on the floor above a horse stable! The flat is at the top of the village of Bassins, on the edge of the forest, 200m from the start of a number of footpaths that are ideal for walks with Angelo. The apartment has a magnificent view over the countryside and the mountains on the horizon. The large private terrace of 50 m2 has everything you need to enjoy the sun, have a barbecue or an aperitif while taking in the view.

We had wonderfuls times at Philippe and Sandrine's home, relaxing, peaceful and we really enjoyed takes caring of Hakoom. The days happened very quickly and we felt like home. The weather was very rainy, however this was not an impediment to enjoying. Philippe and Sandrine are great people, friendly and very generous. They made sure we had everything we needed to have a good stay. They also left us food, bicycles, among other things. They welcomed us with bread and on the last day Philippe took us to the bus terminal in Geneva. We would have liked to share more with them, it will surely be at the next meeting. The house is wonderful, it has all the necessary amenities to be comfortable, what we highlight most is the view of the mountains and the green meadows. Also has a privileged view to observe the activity of the horses (the stable is below), we loved it. Philippe and Sandrine's home is ideal for those who like to enjoy nature. As announced in the description, there are uncountless paths to hike and the landscape it's amazing. We enjoy Hakoom's company, he is a very cuddly cat, a ball of tenderness and and easy to care for. We did not share with Angelo, because Philippe and Sandrine took him with them, so we hope to return at some point to continue sharing, thank you for everything!!

We were allowed to spend 10 days New Year's Eve in an unusual flat (above a horse stable!), which was very interesting. The communication with Phillipe was always easy, clear and nice. Questions were answered immediately and we were given lots of tips on where to go shopping and hiking. Unfortunately we only had Hakoon by our side as Angelo was injured and accompanied Phillipe and Sandrine on their trip. Hakoon is a very uncomplicated cat who was very happy to be stroked and enjoyed keeping us company when he wasn't roaming around. The flat is very nice, fully equipped and with a beautiful view. At night it was sometimes a bit noisy (especially when there was a strong wind) as noises from the horse stables could be heard upstairs. All in all it was very nice and we are happy to recommend the sit. Merci Sandrine and Phillipe
