Beautiful, comfortable Napa home
Introduction
We've always had family members house sit for us, however, they have gone off to college or moved away:) Someone suggested we try Trusted Housesitters, so we thought we'd give it a try. We live in Napa Valley. My husband grew up here and I grew up in Santa Clara, CA.

Our house is in beautiful Napa Valley. We have a fabulous neighborhood, everyone is friendly and it's very safe. It feels like you are in the country, but the house is close to everything. We are just outside the city limits of Napa, 1 block from the Napa Valley Country Club. We are on a hill so the views are wonderful. You can see Mt. St. Helena. There is a pool and a garden that you could enjoy!

We have 1 lab and 2 cats. Our dog will need to be fed twice a day. Once between 6-7:30am and once between 3-4pm We usually excercise her twice a day, either walking her or throwing the ball. She sleeps in our bedroom on her floor cushion. Cats are very self reliant. They have a cat door, self feeder and drink out of the dog bowl outside. Mostly just need to give them lots of pets and cuddles. Water outdoor pots every other day. Bring in the mail every day and take trash cans out on Wed. In the summer, we'd ask that you enjoy the fruits & veggies of our garden and the pool!

My mom and I still think about this sit 3 months after we went. We miss the animals a lot –– what a fun bunch. Highly recommend!

This was our first sit with THS and we hope all of our sits are as wonderful and easy as this one! Hilary and Kevin gave us a great orientation and instructions on the care of their precious pets and warm and welcoming home. Though we didn’t see Chewie very much and Cosmo only when she needed some pets and reassurance, Shouka and Blaze were the most amazingly sweet and laid-back dogs ever. Be prepared to throw the ball a lot, Blaze could run and catch for hours if she could. With exercise and lots of love they pretty much passed out every night and slept until early morning when it all started again. 😊. The area around their home is beautiful, with breath taking views and about a 10 min drive to downtown Napa. We highly recommend a sit for Hilary and Kevin and can’t wait to come back next month to sit for them again.
