Introduction

Hi, I'm Steve, and live in the beautiful town/village of Melbourne in South Derbyshire. Melbourne is a wonderful Georgian market town, with fabulous walks straight from my house. My lovely dog Monty is a 6 year old Cockapoo. Monty is a very loving dog , gentle and gets on really well with adults, children and other dogs. He is a real softie and adores company. He rarely barks. Monty is an active dog and loves to be outdoors on a walk or a run. I have a decent sized garden that's secure. I am a semi retired furniture designer, 68 years old, very active and still enjoy travel. I love the idea of Monty staying in his own home and neighbourhood while I'm away. My home is a very comfortable mid terrace house in excellent condition that any visitor would, I'm sure, enjoy staying in. The village has lots of local amenities , inc a supermarket, a weekly food market, independent shops etc. A car is of course useful, but not essential as everything is on your doorstep.
