Dorset Countryside with Warm Pool and Lovely Labrador
Introduction
We are a family of 5: mum dad, 18 year old twin boys and 15 year old daughter. I run an NGO and my husband is a doctor. We live in a lovely mill house and farm in Dorest. We are planning to be away 18 to 23 July and need someone to look after our four year old labrador. He is very loving and has good recall.

Heneford Mill is a 17th century mill house. It has 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms a great kitchen with Aga, and 3 living rooms. It is surrounded by 27 acres of farm fields, woods and a river. The sheep and horses on the farm are cared for by their owners (it's a grazing arrangement). You will have a large guest bedroom on ground floor and the downstairs bathroom as well as use of all the living areas. Closest beach is 45 minutes drive, and we are close to the lovely village of Cerne Abbas as well as Sherborne with its Abbey and castles.

Sandy eats a bowl worth of food twice a day, once around 7 or 8 am and again at 5 pm. His water is always filled. He needs at least one good hour walk, and ideally more! He loves playing ball and fetch. He will need toileting in the morning and every few hours and last thing in the evening. That can be in the garden or a local walk or by just kicking the ball for him in the garden. He has good recall.

Monas family home & Sandy the dog were an absolute pleasure to sit for. The home had everything we wanted, from idyllic setting, heated swimming pool, lovely gardens and fast WiFi. Sandy is a wonderful dog, He loves his walks, playing ball and swimming in any water he can find. I would strongly recommend this site for anyone wishing to explore the delights of Dorset.

We had a lovely stay at Mona's. Sandy is a really great companion and very well trained. He adores playing in the garden and equally likes cuddling up in the evenings on his bed while we played board games or had dinner. He's a got a really lovely nature to him and made our stay very comfortable. Mona's home is really lovely too, Mona gave us a full intro to the workings of the house in person before leaving which was very helpful. The kitchen has an AGA (takes a little getting used to, but we're converted!) and our bedroom was spacious. I also worked from their house for a few days during our stay and the wifi was decent. Special mention to the pool too - what a treat! The house is quite remote, and the local train station only has a few trains a day run through it. Since we didn't have a car we were reliant on a food delivery, local walks and a day out to Weymouth by train, which was more than fine for us and Sandy. The local pub is also excellent and the locals are really friendly. We loved our stay and would happily come back again. Thanks to Mona & Sandy for having us!
