House in the suburbs of Brussels with two small dogs
Introduction
Hello! My name is Kayla and my husbands name is Scott. We have two small children, 1 and 4 years old. We are enjoying our time in Belgium and have a few trips coming up where we need to have our two small girls taken care of. We are dog lovers (at one point we had 4!) and regularly host other people’s dogs at our home as well. My husband works full time and I am currently a stay at home mom. In my spare time I like to explore the area, I have visited some awesome places since we have been here but i am partial to Leueven. I also love to ride my bike, paint and go to local farmers markets and Christmas markets. My husband is a gamer, so most of his spare time is in front of the ps4 but he also likes to grill! The littles keep us busy but we wouldn't have it any other way :)

Our home is nestled in the suburbs on the East side of Brussels. A quick 20 min taxi to the airport and close to train and bus stops makes it a convenient location to explore the city. We are also located about 15 min from the city of Leuven to the Easy of us and Waterloo about 15 min to the South of us. We have a 5 bedroom home than can accommodate four adults and two to three children. There is one guest room with a queen bed, a primary room with a kind bed, an office with two desks to accommodate any work you may need to do, a toddler room with a bed and a baby room with a crib. We have a large back yard and are on a corner lot so we have wonderful natural light all day long. A large kitchen with electric stove will make your stay feel like home. To also make your stay comfortable we have a washer a dryer in a separate laundry room, a spacious living and dining area and a cozy living room with a wood burning fireplace. Our home is well loved and has a necessities you might need for a long or short stay. We have children and plenty of toys and baby necessities if you are traveling with littles.

Typically our pets eat one time in the mornings. We let them out often when we are home but there is not an issue if we are out for the day exploring. We leave them in the kitchen when we are gone to minimize toy destruction. Remi tends to do that when we leave and i got tired of cleaning up toys lol. Our girls sleep in the bed with us at night but at the foot of the bed and are easy to sleep with. We don’t typically walk them because our yard is so large so they have plenty of space to run and use the restroom but you are more than welcome to take them for a stroll. I have a few house plants that need watering but nothing in the outside garden. All in all it’s pretty low maintenance. They just need cuddles and someone to stay the night with them. Remi loves to play fetch and Daisy is pretty laid back and to herself but warms up quickly to people :)

Remi and Daisy are adorable dogs, we fell in love with these two wonderful cuties. They were so easy to look after and gave us so much love. Kayla was lovely, great communication, and the house was very comfortable, in a rural and quiet location. It was an absolute pleasure to take care of the two dogs and to look after Kayla's home. We would easily do it again.
