I spent 30 years with the USAF traveling the US and the world. I want to continue my life of adventure, but I need to know that my dog is safe and loved while I do that. My four children are spread throughout the US, Europe and Asia so I will be making many trips to visit with them!

My home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath single family house with a sunroom overlooking the creek. It is on a quiet, wooded lot. You can launch a kayak or paddleboard at mid to high tide. The home is very peaceful. I am located in the the middle of the Virginia Historical Triangle of Jamestown, Yorktown and Williamsburg. If history is not your thing, I am close to Busch Gardens and Water Country. Yorktown Beach is very close and Virginia Beach is less than an hour away. There is a lot to do in the area!

Penny is a sweet and lovable 60 pound labradoodle who is very low maintenance. She is fed twice a day and let out 3 times a day. One of these is a walk. I do have a fenced backyard, but she would rather be with you than outside.

Penny is sweet and quirky. I fell in love with her the first day and we had a great time hanging out. Lisa’s home is comfortable and in a lovely setting. Lisa was a good communicator and left detailed instructions. For walks, Penny was fine and enjoyed walking the loop. She would try to sit down before going out the door and before entering the driveway but once on the loop she walked the whole way. To encourage her, I stood beside her with one hand on leash stretched out forward and one at her hip and kind of guided her out. Sometimes we went through the grass instead of on the gravel, which worked for her. I loved cuddling with Penny on the sofa that she is allowed on. She has so many cute looks and an endearing personality. I would definitely sit again for Penny and Lisa!!

Penny is the sweetest thing and gives the best hugs and love I’ve ever experienced from a dog. I wasn’t able to walk her because she just doesn’t like being outside. And I wasn’t going to force her. So we played fetch and tug of war in the house until she was done with it. This exerted way more energy than I could ever give her on a walk. I would definitely spend more time with penny if im able to ❤️

We had a great time with Penny! Lisa’s home is in a great location and she is a wonderful host and very easy to communicate with. We were able to enjoy Penny while she was abroad to see family. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Penny was a joy to hang out with over the Christmas holiday. We bonded quickly and she was very well behaved. She liked her stuffed toys and if you agreed to play, then she showed her energy. Lisa’s house was comfy, with a fenced yard located on a creek. In warmer weather it would have been great to take one of hervkayaks for a paddle! Nice quiet neighborhood to walk Penny if you wanted more than playing in the backyard.

Cindy and John are amazing! They took wonderful care of Penny. They kept her entertained at home and took her out with them as well. They kept me updated with pictures and texts. They left my house in perfect condition. I highly recommend them and would use them again if given the opportunity.
