Powys to The Peloponnese

Introduction

Hi there! We are Vonnie & Jem who own three gorgeous, lovable hooligans! But more about them in a minute. Creativity, an eye for detail and meticulous planning are the main ingredients of our business... organizing corporate and public events, taking us far and wide. 'Totally love our work! Wining and dining is right up there, along with cinema, zooming around the countryside and visiting the fab coastline of Wales. Jem is finding his feet with a new bass guitar...... (there might be a photo coming up!) EEEEK So this will be our first pet/house sit.

Home & location

The English/Welsh border is currently our location, where we live blissfully in a Victorian Granary. (This is all about to change as we are moving to the Peloponnese!) WATCH this space for more news! The Granary is part of a former country house estate, and whilst the house is no longer standing, the Granary, in it's courtyard setting evokes a sensation of times past. We have truly, wonderful neighbors who at the drop of a hat, will come running to your aid - should you need that. ('Sure you wont!) With it's woodland setting the garden is a bird-watchers paradise. With regular visits from Woodpeckers Siskins, Goldfinches (in their tens), Redpoles, Blackcaps - whilst Buzzards and Red Kites wheel overhead. Our accommodation comprises: large farmhouse kitchen/diner Family bathroom (downstairs) Ground floor bedroom Garden room Stairs up to: Upper sitting room, leading to 2 further double bedrooms both ensuite. The sitting room has a multi-fuel burner with views overlooking the garden. Ample parking adjacent to the property.

Responsibilities

'The Boys' are our delight. They are our first consideration when we wake each day. Dodi & Anekin (Abyssinians) are inseparable - born just 3 minutes apart. They sit cuddling each other and are relatively silent. Otto our Bengal is another story! He tells us EVERYTHING! ........ "I'm going out, I'm coming in, I'm soaking wet - it's raining. Can I have some more food please? NO!!!! Not that tin - a sachet!" OK, you get the picture - don't you! Our three are indoor cats - but the have a walkway from the scullery, through a cat flap and into an outdoor cattery. They don't eat out there. Only drink water. All food is served in the kitchen. I'm going to leave it at that for now, as I do not think we will need a sitter for a while yet.
