For lovers of peace and quiet, we offer a compact detached 3 bedroomed, upside-down style converted barn, set in an acre of gardens with splendid views and no immediate neighbours. The property has its own water supply. The barn is situated three-quarters of a mile down a tarmacked, single-track lane with passing places, 2 miles from a village shop and post-office, 6 miles from a large supermarket , 4 miles from the fishing village and beaches of Looe and 18 miles from the historic city of Plymouth. Upstairs comprises kitchen-diner and a cosy sitting room with log burner. Downstairs via a spiral staircase is a double bedroom with French doors opening on to the garden, 2 smaller / childrens' rooms and bathroom with bath and hand held shower nozzle over bath. A fridge freezer and washing machine is located in a separate barn 30 strides from the house. There is plenty of parking space. There is a stream and overgrown pond at the bottom of the garden and an on-going restoration of a former stable in the lower garden, making it unsuitable for children. Our sitters need to be drivers, non-smokers and fit, as there are steps, spiral stairs and some uneven ground.
