Stay in a Medieval Village with a Sweet Old Cat
Introduction
Bonjour from Montréal du Gers, France. I am a writer and editor, and my husband, Bob, is retired from a 30 year career in the US Coast Guard and many more years as an electrician. We moved to our renovated maison du village three years ago with our handsome old cat, Willow. We are avid hikers and love to explore the stunning Gascon countryside that surrounds us.

We live in a fully furnished and newly renovated village house in the southwest of France. The village is home to a bakery, a butcher shop, a small market, a café, a gas station and several restaurants; all within walking distance of the house. The surrounding area offers abundant opportunities for hiking and vineyard visits; as well as many historical points of interest. The house has a private courtyard, enclosed terrace and off street parking.
Show more...Responsibilities
Willow is an old kitty and spends most of his day snoozing. Cat care is simple: prepare two meals a day, breakfast and dinner, clean his box as needed (he has two: upstairs and downstairs), provide love and adoration as he demands. He is an indoor kitty, although we allow him to wonder our enclosed courtyard on occasion. He can’t hear well. He talks a lot. Once he gets to know you, he is generous with his purrs.
