House and cat sitter needed for 2 weeks from 16th Sept - 1st Oct(Greater London)
Introduction
We live in North East London and are looking for a house sitter to look after Flossie our 14 year old undemanding tabby cat. We are away for two weeks, starting from 17th September till 1st October, but would like to settle you with Flossie a day earlier. Equally, you are welcome to stay a day or so after we return, if you wish. We also put food out for the the birds every morning and the fox in the evening. We have an outdoor pond with fish which need feeding daily and plants indoors and outside which will need watering according to the weather.

The house is a 3 bedroom semi-detached property in a quiet location. Our house is a 20 minute walk from the central line underground station and from there, 30 minutes by train takes you to Central London. The bus stop to the station is 5 minutes from our house. There are local shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Epping Forest and Hainault Forest Country Park are within easy reach. Cable tv and wi-fi are available.

We require a sitter to look after our cat. She needs feeding three times a day at regular times. We have a timed cat feeder for when you go out. We put food out for the foxes at night and we have wild bird feeders which need topping up as required. The fish in the pond may need feeding depending on the water temperature. We would also appreciate the watering of indoor and outdoor plants depending on the weather.

Nadine and Ray were exceptional hosts! From the day of the interview until the start of the sit, they were very kind and accommodating. Ray picked me and my two heavy suitcases up from the station. Nadine was very kind to invite me to a middle eastern home cooked dinner. The sit handover was very smooth and I had all the information I needed. Flossy is a chill and friendly cat. She was always up for a snuggle, which I loved during my breaks. The house is in a very quite and peaceful location. The garden is beautiful and I particularly enjoyed watching the birds on the feeders. Ray and Nadine were communicative throughout the sit and answered any questions I had. They also were kind enough to keep one of my suitcases for a few weeks after the sit. I would definitely recommend them and would be honoured to come back and sit for them.

Flossie is a wonderful cat - taking her time to warm up and relax, so after giving her plenty of space she trusted me with her company which was so rewarding- I will miss her character and her tinkling bell running down the stairs in the morning! Nadine and Ray are kind, welcoming and generous hosts - sharing a meal with me on the first night and leaving a full range vegetables to pick fresh from their beautiful garden, which were delicious! They left clear instructions and communication throughout the sit was seamless. The house has everything you need and is located close to a bus stop which will take you to the tube - or a 30 min walk which I enjoyed. Thank you so much Nadine and Ray - I highly recommend this sit!

If we could leave a 10-star rating we would. Nadine and Ray are such a nice couple. A wonderful welcome dinner together, during our stay lovely WhatsApp conversations, and their cute cat Flossie made our trip to London a fabulous memory. Thank you and we highly recommend this sit.

Nadine and Ray are a very kind and welcoming couple, they made us feel like old friends. They have a lovely home with great garden. Flossie whilst quite reserved at first warmed to us after a short time and was very affectionate. She is a very punctual cat and always arrived with a flourish right on time for all meals. You could set your clock by her. The housesit is in an excellent location if visiting London, just a 10 minute walk to the bus, and then only three stops to Woodford tube station. Shops an small supermarket also only a 10 minute walk.

We had a lovely sit getting to know Flossie. She's a very sweet cat, and also very easy to care for. Nadine & Ray's house was very comfortable with a lovely garden. A walk to nearby Woodford station will take you straight into central London, and there are some nice local shops and pubs too. Would happily sit again!
