Loving dog sitter required for holidays
Introduction
We’re a retired couple in our 60 s who are very active and like to travel but we hate leaving our dogs!! They really love their home so we’re looking for someone to move in to be substitute parents , someone who cares for dogs and wants the dogs to be happy. We live in an amazing historic town called Knutsford that is so pretty and has a beautiful national park on its edge , Tatton Park. Our house is in the centre and is 4 mins walk to a station that takes you into Manchester or Chester. We walk the dogs off lead in Tatton park twice a day , we play golf and tennis, There is a gym 4 mins walk from the house and we have wonderful helpful neighbours in a secluded lane . We have a beautiful house with gardens and we need a commuter dog sitter to look after our vizla and Maltese !!

We have a 4 bed detached house with gardens ,backing into a stream , the River Lily . The house is quite contemporary with ceramic tiled floors , heated , downstairs with a large kitchen with all the usual Amenities , dishwasher ,oven ,double fridge freezer , washing machine . The garden is a lovely place to sit in the summer having a pergola and lots of sunshine . Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the sitting areas have views into the gardens via bifold patio doors . It’s a very luxurious house which anyone would be very happy in . Knutsford is a market town with Tatton Park and its historic house on its doorstep, there are frequent activities within the town such as fairs , circus , music festivals and so many walks into the surrounding countryside . There are a plethora of restaurants and bars in the town , and tennis and golf too with many gym , the nearest being 3 mins walk away. Knutsford people are friendly and gregarious . Most have dogs!!?

The sitter would be required to walk the dogs twice a day , morning about 9.00 and afternoon any time , around 3.00. Depends on weather and light . A total of 90-120 mins per day. They need to feed the dogs after the first walk and again around 5.00 pm. If it’s wet weather the dogs would need to be washed and dried ( feet only usually ) before being let back in house. They have a garage to do this in. Housekeeping and cleaning should be undertaken by the sitter themselves. Most evenings the dogs like to sit with the sitter watching tv etc before bed they should be allowed out into front garden for a wee.

This is definitely a premium sit!! Cassie and Nahla are sooo gorgeous, the most adorable dogs, and Kay and I actually felt emotional saying goodbye to them when we left. Steph is a great communicator with a rich sense of humour and we were really clear how best to care for the dogs. The WhatsApp ease makes live simple. The house is luxurious and a treat to live in, with wonderful outside space. The sit is so close to Knutsford with its lovely park and Tatton Park, cafes and ice cream (even Vegan too). Literally a delightful sit.
