Hi, My Name is James. I am a single guy in my 30's who loves to travel but since becoming a dog dad 2 years ago traveling has gone on the back burner. Trying to get away more while making sure Carson is not stressed. I work 8-5 so bare with me for responding. I thought I would give THS a go as my pooch is a real home bird & to keep him in the environment he is used to.

Home is a small 2 bed/3 bathroom terraced house. Built about 15years ago in a nice & quiet little estate. Bathroom was just full renovated & has an amazingly powerful shower :) The Primary bedroom is spacious, fitted wardrobes & en suite. The other bedroom is a tiny bit smaller but still loads of room. Within the estate there is a park where all the local teams do their training for football, GAA & hurling. it also has a public access tennis court. We are directly across the road from a big supermarket, coffee shop, pharmacy & Thai food take way. A bit further down the road (15min walk) is Swords village, which has loads of shops (big shopping center), pubs & restaurants. The house is right beside a bus stop for the swords express which brings you straight into Dublin city center in 17mins. Not the most frequent but a live location of the bus is available on their website so its easier to know when to walk to the bus stop. If needs be there is good taxi coverage & is about €25-€30 into city center. There are a few good walks around swords, mainly the estuary walk.

Mainly I am looking for someone to spend time with Carson. He is very used to being with some 90% of the time. He comes to work with me everyday. He is ok on his own, usually i would only leave him home if I am going out for the evening so usually 5-6 hours. He only has little legs so super long walks are not required but if that is what you like he will give it a good go. he will definitely let you know when he is tired. I walk him twice a day for around 15-20 mins. before work & around 7pm. He eats when he is hungry, as there is no other pet to compete with for food I will pop some in the morn & again in the evening. He is a treat fiend :) and loves cheese. He is fine in cars, i have a car seat for him.

We stayed with Carson for 10 days and loved spending time with this sweet boy. Carson loves snuggling on the couch wrapped up in his blanket, walks to the park, and chasing birds. However, his real love is cheese. James has a wonderful home that felt comfortable to us. He was welcoming and accommodating making it a great experience. Getting to Dublin was an easy 20 minute bus ride and he also lives very close to the Dublin airport which is nice. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will miss sweet baby Carson.

This sit was awesome. James was easy to contact and so nice. He comes collect us at the airport. Carson is a lovely boy, a little bit shy but so funny. The house was perfect and comfy. Sword is very close to Dublin, no difficulty to go in the center.
