Sweet House in the Woods with Fluffy Friends
Introduction
Hi there- I’m Asil and I live on 5 acres in an oak and dogwood forest outside of Weed, Ca, near Mt shasta. I am originally from the Midwest and relocated to Northern California in 1999, building my house in the woods in 2005. I live here with my daughter and our 2 dogs and 1 cat. I like to hike (often directly from my house), swim in all the beautiful surrounding lakes and ski in the mountains in the winter. I’m currently an environmental consultant, but going back to school this fall.

During the winter month, sitter will have choice to sit in our beautiful 1600 sq foot 2 bedroom 2 bath house in an oak and dogwood forest outside of Weed, CA or in our 3000 sq ft 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house in Mt. Shasta city. The forest house is on 5 acres and no neighbors are within sight, but the access is harder in the winter depending on snow fall and road conditions. Lots of different spots to spend time inside and outside. I’m about 0.5 miles down a dirt road, but only 2 miles from i5 and the town of weed. Where there is gas, grocery and some restaurants. The winter location for this sit can be at our Mt. Shasta city house. This large house is in a great location in town on 1 acre, with lots of room for family, but within walking distance to restaurants and close to groceries. Many areas to hang out and a game room with large screen TV and ping pong table.

Feed the dogs 2x per day - morning and evening. An hour walk once a day really is great for them. Make sure kitty can go outside during day. Water house plants and check outside pots and water if needed. If you wanna take dogs on a hike- Hank is your guy! Lola doesn’t love car rides and prefers to walk from home.

What a great first sit to experience!!! Hank, Lola, Buster and Omer were such a delight, truly. The house was such a pleasure to watch, but the little ones made it so special. Hank is a big ball of endless love. Those eyes!! Lola won over my heart!!! It was hard to say goodbye at the end of the stay, but also glad they are so loved. I enjoyed the walks with them and the dogs were such great on leash, as well as off on a trail nearby. The cats were good also when let outside, unless getting locked up in neighbor's garage. Asil was great with communication and it was really my pleasure to enjoy these adorable lil ones. Highly recommend this pet sit!!!

I had the pleasure of house sitting for Asil recently and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The house was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Additionally, the animals were very well-trained and incredibly cuddly, making me feel right at home. Asil was a gracious and accommodating host, making sure that I had everything I needed during my stay. Overall, I would highly recommend Asil as a host and would jump at the chance to house sit for them again in the future. Thank you for such a positive and enjoyable experience!

This was an amazing sit. Asil’s home is right out of a better homes and gardens magazine. Lovely, peaceful, quiet and clean home. I would be happy to return anytime. The fur babies were fabulous. Omar bathed in the sun all day and loved being one of the “dogs” even though he’s a kitty. Lola was my snuggle buddy and is incredibly mellow and self-sufficient. Hank is a ball of loving kind energy and is the best alarm system. If you have a chance to sit for this household I would invite you to do so. FYI there are a ton of indoor plants which were easy to take care of and brought the outside in.
