Ranch house with three indoor cats outside Atlanta, GA, need a sitter for July..
Introduction
My wife and I have lived in this ranch house in Tucker, Georgia, for 20 years. I am from North Carolina, my wife Karen is from Buffalo, NY. We bought this house because it has a studio space in the back yard. Karen is a professional artist so that was perfect for her. I am an academic advisor at Georgia Tech in Atlanta and have been there for almost 20 year. Karen's 91 year old father lives two houses down from us, but we are not asking the sitter to do anything with or for him. Karen and I are going to Ireland this summer as part of a study abroad program at Georgia Tech. We have three indoor cats who are no trouble at all, we just did not want to leave them that long without a little human companionship. The sitters primary role would be to keep the cats fed and happy, and deal with the cat litter. And the number one rule is to not let them escape! Note, we are open to having people start part of the time, you don't have to stay all of July! Also, if you like to work with clay, you can use Karen's ceramic studio all that you would like!

Our ranch home is older, built about 1960. It is unusual in out neighborhood because it has a finished basement. It also has a 30'x30' enclosed studio in the back yard. We have two bedrooms, one bath upstairs, another downstairs. a den. living room and kitchen. The primary bedroom has a king bed, which is where I assume the sitters will sleep. We have fast internet and expanded Xfinity cable. We have a carport, no garage. Tucker is a cool town about 15 minutes out of Atlanta. Great place to live, good restaurants, and an inviting Main Street with restaurants and a few shops. You can go into Atlanta for shopping, the Georgia Aquarium, sporting events, great restaurants and nightlife, just like any major city. Lots of traffic, but you learn to know when to leave to not affect your life so much.

We feed the cats three times a day, scoop the litter daily, and change the litter about every 10 days to two weeks. We don't have any cats needing medication and we don't have plants that need to be watered. We do ask that you take the trash to the curb on Monday night.
