Two medium/small dogs needing a buddy for a week ☀️
Introduction
Hello! I am a jazz musician who also moonlights as an English and music teacher while I travel. I know all the best places to find good music in Merida!

Both dogs are house trained. If you work from home this is the best situation. I keep the back door to the patio slightly open so they can pee and poo at their leisure. It can get very hot here so if you take them out on walks please do so before 9am and after 7pm. There are many street dogs here so if you take them on a walk be aware of your surroundings. If you leave the house please leave the back patio open so they can go outside if they need. Please do not leave them alone longer than 6 hours. Both dogs eat 1/2 cup of food in the morning and 1/3 cup at night. I currently have them on a 6am and 5pm schedule but they are flexible. They are both quiet, so if you need to get work done they won’t bother you. Dolly can bully Seymour at times when it comes to food and toys. For this reason pease feed them in separate rooms so Dolly doesn’t take Seymour’s food Also please do not feed them human food or treats for the same reason. Dolly is from the streets and has a weird thing with food scarcity and will bully Seymour

We spent a week at Michelle’s with Seymour and Dolly. The doggies look like brothers; however, they aren’t, and their behaviors are very different. Dolly is super friendly and always gets excited about everything. She was always playing or simply sharing her time close to us. We had to work a little more to gain Seymour's confidence. He is shyer and preferred spending time in his own space. We gave him the space and time he needed without forcing him. Gradually, he became more confident, staying close to me when I was working and even closer during thunderstorms. It’s the rainy season, and the long afternoon storms didn’t help in keeping the house clean.
