Responsibilities

Maverick eats 1 cup of food, Scout gets 2 cups, both 2 times a day. Typically 8, and 5. They go to the bathroom before eating usually, and then about an hour after eating then every 2hrs if available! They can be left alone if needed for up to 8 hours. Dogs need to be leashed when walking in the neighborhood, can let them off leash to play fetch in the back, but only if you our out there activly playing with them. If you go on a hike, you can take the pinch collar for both and the e-collar for Scout. They can be particular with new dogs unless they are properly introduced. We usually just do our own thing in public, but they do listen very well if you have treats for them and talk to them! They love to play ball in the backyard, and will let you kick it for hours. They also love walks along the beach, the property, and on any adventure. He can be known to put dogs down to establish dominance so we don’t go to dog parks, but he has done really well with commands to prevent that at home and on hikes. They all just roams around the house during the day sleeping if anyone is home. Scout is on the same schedule as Maverick, he loves to play ball and go on runs. He can be very vocal and reactive on the leash, but there is an electric collar you can use on Scout if you prefer! Cats are all really chill. Milo is very affectionate and will meow at you for pets. He is our special kitty, and loves snuggling and laying on the heating pad. Mojo will take a few days to come around, hiding in the closet usually. When he opens up he loves belly rubs. He will more than likely wake you up begging for pets, so feel free to shut the door to prevent that. Sylvia is affectionate but only on her terms and her time limit. She likes a few head scratches and might lash out if you do not get the hint in time. She loves to drink water out of the sink and likes her water bowl refilled at least once a day in the sink upstairs. All the cats free feed in the bowls in the basement on the ledge by the window and upstairs loft. The loft is dedicated to the kitties, so the gate is always shut.
