Introduction
Hello - we are Steve and Liz a retired couple who try to keep ourselves young in outlook!!! We were both in education - Steve was a secondary school Headmaster and I was a teacher for 23 years then for the last 15 years of my career worked as an education adviser for cared for children. We have 2 very mature, polite, well mannered dogs and an equally mature and very sweet cat. Previous sitters tell us that our pets are lovely: we certainly think they are. We are blessed with living in a beautiful part of Cheshire, with both rural and city activities close on hand. We tend to go away for breaks of a variety of lengths, ranging from 3 nights to 19 nights: and sometimes take the dogs with us. Being experienced members of Trusted Housesitters we pride ourselves on offering any sitters a comfortable home to live in while we are away with pets who will welcome you and be well behaved for you. Our home is on the very perimeter of Knutsford. It is a four bedroomed detached house on a well established but small development. We overlook a cricket club (there is a gate through to the club at the bottom of our garden) and beyond that fields and in the distance hills. Knutsford town centre is an 8 minute walk from our home. Knutsford is a small and beautiful town which has great local amenities, is full of character and is centrally placed for visiting lots of local attractions. There are excellent shopping facilities in terms of food shopping with a large supermarket, two express stores (Sainsbury's and Waitrose) one smaller supermarket which has a range of superb products, local butchers and a small market hall. Once a month, on the first Sunday of the month, a makers market is held in the centre of town. There are a wide variety of fantastic eating places in Knutsford as well as some great pubs. We have a leisure centre, beautiful central moor area, cricket clubs, local 9 hole golf course, nearby top rate golf driving range, crown green bowling club, library and cinema. The beautiful Tatton Park is one of the amazing features of this beautiful town. In the surrounding areas there are a variety of walking areas, other Cheshire small towns, National Trust places of interest, great shopping opportunities as well as the cities of Manchester and Liverpool. All in all Knutsford is a great place to be.

Hello potential housesitters. We are looking for housesitters who are able to: - care for our 2 dogs and the cat or a combination of these as one of or sons sometimes looks after the cat. Our two dogs, Cass and Ella, are both small for their breed. Winnie, the cat, is a sweet and small cat. - general care of our home and garden - communicate with us as/when/if necessary while we are away - if possible we like to spend time with you and look after you the day/evening/ morning before we set off so we have an opportunity to introduce to our beloved animals, show you around the house and give you an opportunity to visit at least one of our dogs' favourite exercise spots

This was such a fabulous sit. The girls - Cass, Ella and Winnie - are so affectionate, well behaved and always ready for a cuddle. Cass and Ella are mature dogs but still enjoy their walks and playtime. They were gorgeous throughout, and we were delighted when they brought us their little toy tokens of gratitude anytime they were happy to see us, or after we gave them their meals. Just completely adorable! We loved our time with them and were very sad to part company at the end of the sit. We had a delicious evening meal with Liz and Steve the night before the sit. They’re very friendly, hospitable, generous and great fun. We had an excellent night with them and that set us up really well for our stay. Their house is warm, stylish and very comfortable. Liz’s welcome pack (longest we’ve seen!) is comprehensive and covers absolutely everything you need for a prepared sit. There are so many gorgeous towns and villages in the area and we had plenty of time to explore. Knutsford is walkable and has a great high street and very good pubs! This is a very lovely sit. 10/10 from us.

From the moment we arrived at Liz and Steve's beautiful home we were made to feel very welcome. They are a lovely couple who we would love to remain friends with. Both dogs have loving natures and are adorable. We loved walking them and watching their antics with balls. They followed us everywhere and we were sad to leave them when the sit finished. The house is beautiful and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed visiting all the local towns and Knutsford is delightful with some lovely places to eat. We would hope to house sit again in the future and definitely recommend this sit

Highly recommended sit, in a beautiful area of the UK. The house is wonderful and so comfortable. Ella and Cass, the dogs are just adorable, as is puss who is cuddly and no problem at all. Steve nd Liz made us feel so at home and cooked us a gorgeous meal. We hope to keep in touch and maybe see them in Nova Scotia one year.

Just back from Knutsford , lovely area and wonderful family home . The dogs Cass and Ella are just great , so easy to manage and so affectionate . The whole experience was most enjoyable . Liz and Steve did everything possible to make me feel at home . I would heartily recommend , Maureen
