We live in a newly renovated 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom ,1905 Historic home in downtown New Bern. You will be in the guest bedroom with your own bathroom. Fully furnished kitchen with propane grill in the small courtyard out back. Full size washer and dryer.

They are still young and need to be active. Three walks a day for a minimum of 20 minutes. There is a dog park in walking distance and it's a dog friendly town. Lucy is only one year old so there is a gentle lead for her. She is also a pup that still likes to chew so all doors in the house need to be closed and nothing left laying around when you leave. And please water the plants

Really enjoyed this house sit in New Bern. Laura was very hospitable and has a very nice and comfortable home. Communication was great. Her pups are the absolute best--so friendly, funny and cute. They are also very well-behaved. We loved spending time with them. New Bern is a charming town and very walkable. It has lots of nice restaurants and views of the water are lovely.

Hattie Mae and Lucy Lou-Ann were such a bunch of fun!! They are so smart, so cute, and such lovies. We explored New Bern and really enjoyed learning its history together! They, of course, used their noses and I read every sign in town. Plus, we met a bunch of really nice neighbors and their pups! There were plenty of cute restaurants around, but I mostly ate at home. Laura was a terrific communicator and her house is super comfortable! I truly loved this sit and would be so happy to do it again!!

New Bern, North Carolina was a wonderful experience. The adorable dogs will melt your heart, all they want is some attention, the ability to go on a few walks each day, and in return, they will provide all the love and attention one would ever need. The home is absolutely adorable, a great, modern kitchen and wonderful living space. The bedroom has everything you need, to include a king size bed which is nice :-) the area outside the house is complete with endless walkability, to the local farmers market over the weekend, the Riverwalk, which is a little over 3 miles of just beautiful scenery, or downtown area with restaurants and boutiques only seven or eight minutes away. Literally everything that one would need is just a few steps from the door. It’s a beautiful, quaint town with so much history and incredible views, it’s sure to please :-) if you get a chance, don’t skip by this opportunity to check out some incredible history, some awesome views and some really adorable dogs in New Bern North Carolina.

Everything about this sit was perfect (and I do lots of sits). The dogs are sweethearts and Laura was very welcoming me into her home. It's a short walking distance to several restaurants and shops so a car isn't really necessary unless you want to explore further. I highly recommend this sit if you are coming down east and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Paula was wonderful! She gave me updates on the girls with cute pictures of them playing. Friends and neighbors saw her out walking them and said the girls were happy and she was super friendly! She even stayed an extra night as my flights were delayed. We would welcome her back anytime!

Valerie and Mark did a great job with the girls. Highly recommend! When I got back I had several people tell me they saw the “girls” all over the place so I know they were out for lots of walks!
