Spend a week in October in enchanting Kenmare, Ireland
Introduction
Mark and Deb are retirees who have chosen to relocate to the charming town of Kenmare in County Kerry, Ireland. Mark was a CEO and Deb a school administrator. We are mostly settled in our new community, and we love it! Kenmare is situated at the point where the Ring of Kerry meets the Beara Peninsula. Both areas are full of breathtaking scenery, ancient sites and delightful people. In spite of a year-round population of just over 2,000, there are 40 pubs/restaurants in Kenmare. We brought our two cats, ages 17 and 9, to Ireland with us. They are very people oriented and need to have a loving companion(s) when we travel. They will likely be shy at first, but once you feed them, they'll be yours.

Kenmare is a charming town in southwest Ireland with access to a wide range of environments, from steep mountains to the Atlantic Ocean. It is located at the point where the Ring of Kerry meets the Beara Peninsula and is a very popular tourist destination. We have three 3-ring notebooks full of activities within a day's drive of our home, which is in a small wooded neighborhood located less than a mile from the town center.

We would like the sitters to do the following: * Feed/water and spend time with the cats. Both cats are healthy and active, and we do not anticipate a need for medications or vet visits.

This is a really nice house sit. The lovely "ladies" Fuma and Fala were two of the most loving and fun cats we've ever had the pleasure of spending time with. Deb and Mark's home is comfortable in every way and the town of Prescott has some thing for everyone to enjoy. Deb and Mark were always available to answer any questions or concerns, reassuring when one is learning a new house and pets.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely home! Falla and Fuma are sweet kitties and easy to care for. Deb and Mark kept in touch and left very detailed information which made everything easy to do. Thanks for choosing us!

Lari and her daughter Lacey did a terrific job with our home and our cats. The house looked just as we left it - but cleaner! Our greatest appreciation, however, was that our cats also acted as if we had never been gone. Lari and Lacey obviously made them feel comfortable and cared for.
