Hi, I'm Carolyn. I share my 1929 home with my 16 year old cat BB. I am recently retired and love to camp and travel with my family and friends. BB and I live in a historic suburb on the north side of Richmond which has easy access to all that Richmond has to offer.

I live in a historic neighborhood on the north side of the city. There are lots of tall trees, gardens, sidewalks and street lights. One block over is a coffee shop, wine shop, and several restaurants. I feel comfortable in the neighborhood and take walks both during the day and in the evening. The house has everything you will need. The guest room has a queen bed. I have a fenced in backyard and love gardening. I may ask for the sitter to do some watering in the warmer months. There are many great parks and museums within a 15 minute drive. Richmond has a lot of history to experience. The ocean and mountains are a 2 hour drive.

BB is a super loving indoor cat and thrives on attention. Although he is older, he requires no medication. I feed him in the morning and around dinner, and leave dry food and water out for him in between. He has a litter box upstairs and one downstairs. I scoop the upstairs litter box 2x a day. I keep the scoop in the trashcan, litter and plastic bags are in the bathroom closet. In the warmer months, I will need the sitter to turn on soaker hoses and water containers several times a week, depending on the weather. I will provide printed specific instructions before each sit depending on the weather conditions.
