Cat sitters needed in Bournemouth
Introduction
Hi, I'm George. Me and my partner Helen live in a 2 bedroom wheelchair adapted bungalow in Bournemouth. We're away fairly regularly and one of our cats gets very upset if we leave her alone. We've also got some chickens but these don't require much looking after!

We live around 3 miles from Poole town centre and Poole Quay. About 4 miles from Bournemouth town centre and beaches. Local shops and takeaways within walking distance (and close to bus routes to both Poole and Bournemouth). We have off road parking and external CCTV covering the front driveway and the garden. There are 2 large commons within easy walking distance.

Feed cat dry cat food twice a day. Attempt to shut the cat in overnight. Top up chicken food and water as needed and collect eggs. Keep the front gates closed (in case of chicken escapes)

Helen and George are very warm and friendly hosts - we immediately got on well on our arrival and everything was well documented. Having read the unfavourable previous review and the reasonable response from Helen our expectations were set and overall we were pleasantly surprised. The house is very comfortable, the spare bed was absolutely fine (but room does need decorating as Helen and George freely admit), the shower is amazing and the kitchen well equipped. The area is quiet and we were glad we had our car to visit the attractions - but shops and supermarkets are very close by. The cats were great company - Panther is very affectionate and Daisy loves a head-rub. Panther was great at taking his medication. The chickens were easy to look after - and productive too! We enjoyed our time and were really pleased to have met George and Helen. (That earlier review is bothering me a bit .... house-sitting is a two-way service, not a right to sumptuous accommodation. Helen and George had a great weekend away and we were happy to help). Four thumbs for now but would easily be five once the spare room is sorted.

Lovely couple with delightful kitties and some very fun and opinionated chickens. Helen and George were wonderful hosts, provided all the info and instructions I might have needed along with lots of information about the area—maps, bus schedules, restaurants, areas of interest/activities. Would highly recommend.

Our first house sit was depressing, had to scramble over electrical items, t.v's, computers to get into bed, wallpaper strips missing or peeling, carpets butted together with gaffer tape, no table and chairs to have a meal, no way of opening conservatory doors or windows (it was the hottest week of the year) because of junk, had to keep clothes in a suitcase, spent entire time out and about and ate out....cats were sweet though. I now demand to see photographs before accepting a sit and fortunately the 4 sits followed have been lovely comfortable homes.
