My home is a three bedroom semi in a pleasant suburb of Preston. It is 2-3 miles from the city centre but easily accessible by car or public transport. It is also only 5 minutes by car to the M6. I have a drive which accommodates 2 cars and a secluded rear garden. There are plenty of local walks and shops, a pub, a craft ale bar which also serves excellent pizzas, and cafés/restaurants very nearby.

Stripey is pretty low maintenance. He was originally a stray living in the garden but moved in eventually - as cats do! He can be in or out at night as he pleases. He has a cat flap into the garage and a bed in there if he's out and it starts raining. He eats a couple of pouches of wet food each day and has biscuits and water always available. I might need some plants and seedlings watering and I feed the birds in the garden each day. I could leave the food ready portioned for them.

We enjoyed our week long stay at Jane's house in Preston with Stripey the cat. Very neat and tidy home, with a well equipped kitchen, a nice back yard, and a comfortable bed. Fast WiFi. Lidl grocery store a ten minute walk away. Stripey was very easy to look after.
