Introduction
NO COACHELLA FESTIVAL ATTENDEES, PLEASE. We are Terry and Victor and live in Desert Hot Springs - the greater Palm Springs area. Retired from the airline and with travel benefits, we get away often. The care of a 3 year old Springer Spaniel/Border Collie mix named Hershey is the reason for this exchange of benefits; lodging for you, and pet care for us whilst away. Your one small/medium pet is allowed. The dates are solid but are flexible at both ends for you to accommodate your stay. We seek a dog loving, communicative and tidy sitter(s) from time to time to take very good care of our amazing dog, Hershey.

Hershey can be alone for hours at a time while you get out and see the area, dine or just take a break, His care is minimal, his routine is easy. Fish need food once a day, that's it. Depending on length of stay, some plant watering may be involved.

Terry is the most welcoming and considerate host, the location is quiet, comfortable, great amenities like community jacuzzi and pool and Hershey is a dreamboat of a dog. Pet and house caretaking duties are light. We had a relaxing stay and would do it again any time! Thanks, Terry!

We genuinely enjoyed our two weeks with Hershey. He's a wonderful and loving animal when it comes to people. He doesn't seem to mind a bit that his family goes away as long as he has someone to give him abundant pats and food. It's a hoot to see him lie in his chair while you watch TV. We were very comfortable in Victor and Terry's contemporary style home located in a well-maintained 55+ park. It is a quiet enclave complete with clubhouse, pool, spa, and pickleball courts. Most amenities are within a half mile of the front gate when it comes to groceries, eateries, and yes, Starbucks. And Don't miss the Mexican Bakery in the same lot. It's about a 20 minute drive to the airport and downtown Palm Springs.
