Hi! My name is Mary and my family and I are avid travelers. We are looking for someone to watch our home and 3 of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. We live in Cary NC, just outside the the Research Triangle. Our home backs up to the Greenway and Tobacco Trails with miles of walking, running, or biking! We are also just minutes away from shopping and great places to eat! In the best interest of your pet as well as ours, we do not allow sitters to bring their personal companions along for the sit. We greatly appreciate that if you would like to bring any human companion along with you for your sit is that you ask in the initial introduction, so we are aware who may be entering and leaving our home.

Our home sits on a 1/2 acre fenced in lot in Cary NC, just outside Raleigh/Durham. It settled just minutes away from nearby shopping and amazing restaurants. The home backs up to the Greenway and Tobacco Trail for miles of great walking, running, and biking around the beautiful subdivision. Our home features 3 bedrooms, 5 bathroom, an office, a home entertainment room, and a screen-in outdoor living space. Our sitter would take residency on the first floor guest room pictured above. We are a smoke-free home (inside and outside the property). Things to do: - 2 hours from sandy beaches - 2 hours of picturesque mountains - 20 minutes away from note-worthy state parks - 20 minutes away from metropolitan shopping - 15 minutes from NHL's North Carolina Hurricanes - Durham Bulls Minor League Baseball

I had the absolute pleasure of watching over these sweet dogs and bunny. Firstly, Mary and her family are the nicest people, super friendly and generous. Communication was excellent before and during the sit. Whenever I had a question, they were quick to respond. Instructions were perfectly clear, with both a house manual and a pet manual provided. I was able to meet with the family before they left and got a rundown of everything. Food was individually bagged and everything was labeled for each pet, which made everything extremely easy. Only Murphy required medication, which was also individually bagged and labeled for each day, and he had no problems taking it. I absolutely fell in love with the boys, Murphy, Scooter, Hank, and Kipper. They were very well-behaved and easy to take care of. I loved all of their personalities. I would play fetch with them in the backyard, cuddle with them on the couch, and snuggle with them to sleep. I also watched over Linus, the bunny, who is the softest little thing. Linus was easy to care for, requiring food once in the morning and changing of the litter box every other day. I could not recommend this sit more. You will fall in love with the boys—I miss them already!

Mary and Jeff were fabulous to have as a first official TH sit. I was able to meet Mary at the house ahead of their departure to meet “the boys” and get an orientation to their routine and the home. Their home is gorgeous, immaculate, with everything you could possibly need, and then some. Instructions were straightforward and I was provided with a reference binder that also contained all the info on the house, the dogs, and the area. The sit itself was a joy. My husband and I really enjoyed getting to know Murphy, Scooter, and Hank and their very distinct personalities. Murphy is a pretty mellow older guy who would truly be happiest napping all day (We got many chuckles from folks on the American Tobacco Trail when he decided that he was done with his walk and would just lie down). Scooter is full of affection and wants nothing more than to be your designated doggy kiss provider- and he will deliver until you start giving him belly rubs. That’s the only way to get his licker in check! And then there’s little Hank. For still being pretty young, he wasn’t overly excitable and really enjoyed snuggling. Meal time was made easy in that Mary had all of their portions already pre measured in baggies and their dishes were labeled. The dogs are very familiar with their mealtime routine and readily took their once daily oral meds in pill pockets. For any questions I had, Mary was quick to respond. The guest room and full bath that we were provided with was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. This area of metro Raleigh has tons to do, from wonderful trails that are adjacent to the house to all sorts of fabulous restaurants and parks. I couldn’t recommend this sit more highly and we’d love the opportunity to care for Murphy, Scooter and Hank again some day.

It was a delight to stay at Mary and Jeff's house and look after their 3 adorable dogs. They had everything organized for sitters to enjoy the experience, and the only real burden was medicating Murphy twice a day. Luckily, Murphy is a champ and was easy to medicate, so it was no stress at all. The other 2 dogs were great although Hank does need a bit of assertive direction. The house is stunning and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I wouldn't hesitate to sit here again! Thanks Mary and Jeff!
