Just got back from Jeanette and Gerry’s gorgeous home in Keshcarrigan, a quaint little village in Leitrim, where I got to hang out with the dearest little doggy, Holly. The home is an old bed and breakfast and is simply stunning, with beautiful views of the water from all over the house ( but of - the conservatory is my favourite). Jeanette was so welcoming. She had prepped a warm and comfortable room, left some food to nibble on while they were gone and she even dropped me to/picked me up from the bus stop. There’s a cute little coffee shop with basic groceries and two quaint pub/restaurants, plus heaps of nice walks around the lake and canals - which Holly will love to accompany you on. I absolutely fell in love with little Holly - she has such a pretty face and cute, friendly nature. Was so nice and refreshing to have a retreat in the countryside. Transit to the city was easy too - there is a daily bus to and from Carrick on Shannon, and from there a train to Dublin. I’d gladly stay again. Thank you for having me! 😊

I had a gorgeous time with Holly! Jeanette had prepared really thoughtfully for my visit to her lovely home and Holly is a sweetheart to look after - relaxed and gentle, she loves a walk and some treats and will happily watch tv with you and explore the local canal walks. Communication with Jeanette was really easy and helpful and I had a gorgeous time. I can definitely recommend this housesit.
