Responsibilities

We think our little animal trio is easygoing and entertaining and we bet you'll think so, too. Our two ginger kitties, May and Fizz, are mama and son and they adore each other. We fostered May for a rescue group when she had a litter of six newborn kittens, and we ended up adopting May and one of her babies (Fizz). They're both social, happy, well-adjusted cats who play together, groom each other, sleep cuddled up, and eat from the same dish. They also love people and are super affectionate and trusting. Caring for them simply requires feeding them in the morning and evening and occasionally scooping out their litter box. And, of course, letting them sit on your lap and snuggle. Abe is a very sweet pup and definitely a member of the ginger trio! He's a sensitive, gentle little guy and once he understands you're part of his pack, he'll follow you everywhere. He's fed morning and night with the cats. With us, he generally gets two walks a day. With you, he may need some time to feel comfortable enough to leave our property with you. But he's got a fenced in acre of land here and so it's fine with us if he takes his time or even chooses not to venture out with you. Like the kitties, he's affectionate and really likes people. He'll expect to sleep in the same room with you, either in his bed or yours! Depending on the season, you might need to water our vegetables, which you're welcome to eat. You're also welcome to pick and eat our apples. And huckleberries. And blackberries.
