Spacious Sunny Home with views of the sea and Amazing Pets!
Introduction
I am a comedienne headlining in Spiegelworlds Atomic Saloon Show at The Venetian Palazzo part time in Las Vegas. I have a family with a 11 year old boy and due to my busy work schedule like to take mini breaks and need someone to feed the two cats, Walnut and Alex twice a day and Maxi the dog twice a day and walks in the morning and evening . When we can we will take our dog Maxi with us. My partner, Roger is Swiss so we spend holidays from end of July to beginning of Sept in Switzerland visiting family and friends. We need a house sitter for the mini breaks and the longer times every summer. Roger is a gardener so we would also be looking for someone to water the garden and mow the lawn etc.

Please note we have only just bought the house and not moving in until 26th June so these are photos of the property's listing. It will obviously be same structure but different furniture just to be clear!!!! I will add photos again once we move in! A beautiful and characterful 1940 semi-detached mock tudor house. South facing garden with views of the sea. Spacious open plan living room, kitchen and dining room overlooking the sea with bi-folding window leading out to the terrace. Real wood pot belly fire to make it cosy in the winter season. 5 bedrooms so nice and spacious with two ensuites and a main bathroom. All beautifully decorated. Utility Room with washer/dryer and kitchen fully equipped. Sitter use of two bedrooms both double beds with an ensuite and an adjacent bathroom. The sitter has access to whole home. We would prefer our main bedroom is kept unnoccuppied but open to discussion. Large driveway and depending on how we travel we may be able to lend the car. Access to bikes too. 5 mins walk to huge local Hove Park with recreation playground, tennis courts, climbing and cute delicious cafe. 10 min walking distance to Waitrose supermarket and Coffee shop. 5 min drive to the Hove beach and a 10 min drive to Brighton. Maxi needs walking morning and evening at least 45 mins. Meals morning and evening. 1 cup dry food with a mix of teaspoon wet food. Dog food and treats found in the utility room. She LOVES lots of cuddling and ball throwing etc in garden. She sleeps mostly in the day. She also loves playing with other dogs and has a very happy countenance with animals and humans. She has several playdates with dogs in the neighbourhood which can arrange for extra stimulation. Local dog parks are great too so she can run off leash. She can sit, stay, give paw and lie down. Continued training would be appreciated. She comes when u call but always good to give treats. Make sure side blue gate in back garden is always closed so Maxi can't escape. Pooper scoop in back garden and bin. Walnut & Alex meals morning and evening. 1/2 cup dry food. Food and treats is in utility room. Walnut loves attention and is very affectionate. He has a love hate relationship with Maxi and he can get a bit irritated by her sometimes but not a problem. Alex is not around much and quite scared especially of new people but once she trusts you she can be very affectionate too. We would ask you to keep the house tidy and pick up anything from floor when cleaners come twice a month. We would ask you to water the garden in summer and if necessary to mow the lawn

I had such a wonderful time in Hove! Maxi was so wonderful to spend time with. She’s so gentle and sweet, definitely playful at times. The cats would happily let you know when they were hungry but also wonderful company. Walnut slept on the bed with me most nights. Thank you Petra and Roge for allowing me in your home. I really appreciated you checking in often. With some house repairs taking place during my stay you laid out what to expect clearly. I’d be more than happy to come back again if ever needed.

Petra is a wonderful host! Maxi is such a sweet puppy, very low energy. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with Maxi or giving her ear scratches. Maxi just liked to hang out with us were every we were around the house. Occasionally she talks let's us know she wanted more scratches & pets, very cute!! Walnut & Alex are a bit shy at first but gradually warmed up to my husband. We look forward to our next sit!!

My son and I had a wonderful time sitting for Petra and her family. She is laid back and a great communicator which made our job super easy. She also invited us to come early/stay later to make travel arrangements more affordable, and it felt more like visiting friends than staying with folks we’ve never met before. Maxi is a sweet and chill girl and took her pills very easily. The cats and fish are low maintenance but do come around for some affection, particularly Walnut. The location of the house is fantastic - 10 minutes from Fremont area or the main strip. I would definitely recommend sitting for Petra and her family and we hope to come back again sometime.

Windy and Dustin are marvellous. Felt like we had an instant connection. They are very respectful of space and truly wonderful and caring with the animals. I have already booked them three more times from first visit so almost don't want to put out a good review like this for fear they might get booked up very quickly!

April and her son Clarence stayed with us and it was like the became immediately part of the family! They were both very caring with all our pets and respectful of our home. We had a lot fun together as our holiday was delayed so we got to hang out a bit. We hope they will come back and house sit again for us soon. Thank you!
