Small Family Dog in South Somerset
Introduction
Hi We are the happy owners of Scooby our young small dog. Where we can, we like to travel with Scooby but on occasion when we can't, we would rather he stayed in his own home knowing he will be well cared for. We are Tim & Chris and 3 youngsters. We have a lovely grade 2 listed property in a wonderful village in South Somerset, in striking distance of the famous Jurassic Dorset coast and to many historic towns such as Wells, Glastonbury, Sherborne, Bristol, Exeter and famous monuments such as Stonehenge and many more. We invite you to our home, our pet (Scooby) and to Somerset.

Our home is built from local blue Lias stone with a historical background. Our village has a famous pub serving exquisite food, a village shop, a church and a village green with a real community spirit. We have a guest room with en-suite and comfortable modern decoration and furnishing with a smallish landscaped garden.

Fabulous hosts, Fabulous fur, Fabulous house, Fabulous location, We loved this sit. Chris and Tim made us very welcome, showed us round their lovely home and explained how everything worked. We were given a lovely comfortable en suite bedroom with the added bonus of blackout curtains and hanging and drawer space. Chris and Tim's home comes complete with lovely outdoor space, and a relaxed comfortable feel. You k ow you're in a home where there's a lot of love. Scooby is a delight to look after full of love and fun. We both enjoyed the local walks around the village. Him for the sniffs me for the abundance of blackberries. The village is charming, with its cricket pitch, croquet lawn, village pub and shop. Scooby behaved well enough in the car when we ventured further afield to Cheddar Gorge and Forde Abbey. If you are lucky enough to be offered a sit here grasp it with both hands, you will not be disappointed. Chris and Tim thank you for taking the time to help make this one of our favourite sits to date.

This was a lovely assignment. 👍Chris and Tim were very welcoming and relaxed. Cooked me a lovely meal on arrival. ,😋Explained everything that was required of me during my stay. The house and garden were a joy. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Scooby the little dog was a sweetheart. We had a little holiday romance going on and I benefitted greatly from lots of snuggles. It's a beautiful part of the country and I found the village very endearing and memorable. Lots of lovely walks to be had. I would definitely recommend this house sit. Five stars all round. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
