With our children growing older, we're keen on creating more cherished memories before they fly the coop! Our home is nestled in a peaceful neighborhood surrounded by big trees and friendly neighbors. The house itself is simple but charming, with a cozy feel that makes it easy to relax and unwind. We're lucky to have a community pool just a short walk away, perfect for cooling off on hot days. And with walking paths winding through the area, it's easy to get out and enjoy the fresh air. Despite being close to everything (grocery stores, drug stores, Starbucks, all within walking distance) our neighborhood is quiet and comfortable. Things to do: We're close by Six Flaggs Magic Mountain if you're a roller coaster person, and we're a 45 min-1 hour drive to the beach or piney mountain hikes! Nearby is downtown Newhall, a quaint street with restaurants, movie theater, pubs and shopping.

Our pets are very easy and VERY loving! Our dog Checkers has Addison's disease which is managed by oral medications he takes in the evenings. These can be put in his food and he gobbles them up-no drama! Checkers stays in his kennel when we are not at home and can be left for up to 6-7 hours. He sleeps with us at night, but if you are uncomfortable with that, he can sleep in his kennel. Otherwise he hangs out with us and likes to snuggle and play tug-of-war with socks. His FAVORITE thing to do is go for walks in our neighborhood and we have many beautiful walking paths for you both to enjoy. Our cats are litter mates and look almost identical, but each have their own sweet personality. The are exclusively INDOOR cats, though they will try to make a break for it now and again. If they escape they come back to the door within 10 minutes - they know they don't have what it takes to be in the wild. They eat, sleep and snuggle most of the time. No medications or special accommodations for these guys.

Kate is really nice. Neighborhood is great. She was very communicative about the dogs’ needs which was helpful. The dog was pretty unkept so there was an issue with cleanliness. There were walkable stores and the neighborhood pool was pleasant.
