Paulo and Sarah love sport and outdoor activities, so you will find a small (very small!) Home-gym in our apartment and we have easy access to the beach and a selection of lovely parks and green areas in the neighbourhood. The apartment is 7 minutes walking from the train station Carcavelos that takes you directly to the heart of Lisbon and to Cascais, and 15 minutes walking from Carcavelos beach.

Our pets are very used to their routine and we would love to keep it as steady as possible when we're away, but we of course understand that it's not always possible to stick to the schedules strictly. Cats: Our cats have 3 meals per day. Morning (7-9 am) Lunch (12H - 14H) Dinner (19-21) Boris has medication to take every morning which is why breakfast is the most important meal of the day for our cats. If the lunch and dinner schedules vary a bit, the cats will be ok. Brooklyn(dog): If he is in the apartment as well while we are away (he usually goes to Paulos mother, who takes care of him when we travel) he will eat at the same time as the cats. We have measurements for all their food specified on a spreadsheet with images of each cat and the food they eat + the dosages, so there will be plenty of guidance during the stay.

I had the most wonderful 10 days in Carcavelos at Sarah & Paulo's apartment! When I was there I looked after Nelly, Athena and Boris (Brooklyn was staying with family) and they were incredibly friendly and some of the most easy-going cats I've had the pleasure to spend time with. The apartment is big and airy. I worked a few hours in the daytime while I was there and there's plenty of desk space. It's close to the centre of Carcavelos, the station and only 15 mins from the beach with lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby and a supermarket literally a few steps away! Sarah & Paulo were warm, friendly and a delight to meet. Communication with them was perfect every step of the way. All in all, just a dream sit and I would love to return if our dates align in the future!

Sarah, Paulo, and all of the pets were very kind and welcoming! We watched their 4 cats and they all had their own personalities and they were all very sweet😊 The area was very walkable and there was great public transportation so there is no need to have a car. We would come back in a heartbeat to take care of the cats again & explore more of Portugal! Thank you so much again for having us 😁

This was a wonderful housesit in every way. Sarah and Paulo are the nicest people and the most welcoming hosts. The cats are sweet, affectionate and easy-going. The apartment is lovely and comfortable. The location is great with everything within walking distance. I highly recommend this sit!
