Spoiled, easy-going Goldendoodle needs substitute parent when mine are gone
Introduction
My husband and I retired to beautiful Grand Lake in Oklahoma. We love it here and know you will, too. I am a semi-retired court reporter, and my husband is retired law enforcement. We have a very spoiled Goldendoodle named Jax that would like to stay home when we have to travel somewhere. We have a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom waterfront home on Monkey Island, close to Shangri-La resort. There is great fishing, and if you play golf, there's 2 golf courses here, including a brand new par 3 course. We have kayaks and great places to walk and enjoy nature. The deer are abundant and fun to watch. We live in a very nice gated neighborhood. We have a gas fireplace on the deck, which overlooks the lake. One of our favorite things to do is sit on the deck and relax. Jax is a very obedient and easy boy to sit.

4 bed, 4 bath upscale waterfront home in a gated neighborhood. We have a community pool, pickleball/tennis court, basketball court, great wooded walking area. 2 great golf courses are VERY close by. We have kayaks and wonderful fishing (enclosed fishing dock if you prefer). Great deck overlooking a nice cove of Grand Lake. Shangri-La resort is 3 miles away. Very nice restaurants close by. Weber grill, Hasty Bake grill, Blackstone grill.

Jax is very easy to take care of. Just make sure he has food and water at all times, takes his vitamins, etc. He just had ACL surgery, so he won't need exercising. He needs to be kept quiet until June. Water deck plants.

If you're a pet lover in need of a heartwarming getaway, look no further than Bernice, OK. Nestled in the woods beside Grand Lake lies a beautiful home, but what truly makes it special are its inhabitants – a sweet, four-legged friend, Jax, and the most generous hosts imaginable, Jeannie and Gary. From the moment I stepped into their abode, I was greeted with warmth and a wagging tail. Jeannie and Gary, gracious beyond measure, welcomed me with a delicious dinner and made sure I felt right at home. Their kindness and hospitality set the tone for the entire stay. Jax, in the midst of recovering from a recent surgery, radiated an undeniable sweetness and tranquility that warmed my heart from the very start. He was so sweet and easy going, so obedient and compliant. It was obvious that Jax was more than a dog to Jeannie and Gary and as their dogsitter, being entrusted with such a precious responsibility was an honor I won't soon forget. I would definitely recommend this wonderful dog/house sit and hope to return soon!
