Introduction
I'm an active retired senior, living in a lovely apartment in Quincy Massachusetts. I recently relocated here from California to be close to family. I have some family nearby, and some family in Europe and hope to travel to see all of them periodically. I have one cat and lots of house plants that need care when I'm away.

My apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the master bath attached to the master bedroom. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The apartment is on the 10th (top) floor on the corner of the building, so there's lots of light all the time. The living room is spacious; the dining area is small but flexible. The kitchen is very efficient with lots of counter space. There is a stackable washer dryer in the apartment. I have a parking space in a garage that is attached to the building, so I don't have to walk outside to get to my car. I am right in the middle of Quincy Center, within one block of a beautiful library, the post office, the famous Church of the Presidents, and the train station. Boston and Cambridge are just a short train right away.

Butch is fed fresh food and water twice a day (usually about 6 AM and 6 PM). He has a basket of toys, and will pull toys out and ask you to play with him. I try to keep him active several times a day so he won't gain weight weight. Before we moved here he had a big patio that he could run around on, and he doesn't have that here. He also loves to chase the laser light. But also loves to be scratched under the chin and he does wonderful nose bumps with you. I try to brush him every day. He doesn't mind it on his back and head and chin, but it tickles on his tummy and he fights with a brush. I have several house plants, most of which only need to have a good watering once a week, although a couple of them need watering more often than that.

It was an absolute joy staying at Diana’s beautiful home and taking care of her one of a kind feline friend- Butch. He takes a little while to get to know you. After you pass Butch’s test he’s like a loyal companion, sitting by your side and expressing his affection in subtle, lovable ways. Diana made our stay very comfortable by leaving her home in pristine fashion for us, leaving clear notes and being available via phone to answer any question that came up. Wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
