We are Jim and Eileen Ramsey. We have just moved in to our newly completed home in Rotonda West, FL. We have three cats who have been good troopers traveling with us in our motorhome but who now wish to stay home while we embark on international travel.

This is a newly completed home (December 1st, 2023) in Rotonda West within minutes of Boca Grande beaches and Punta Gorda. It’s a three bedroom, two bath home with a covered lanai and a caged pool (completion in mid-January, 2024). The home is sited on 3/8s of an acre adjacent to a medium sized pond. Rotonda West is a quiet, deeded community.

Everything was fantastic, Jim and Eileen were communicative and hospitable. Their home was lovely, we enjoyed going to the beach which was only 15 minutes away and hanging out by the pool with Tucker, Loki, and Taylor who all had their own separate personalities. For us Tucker was the snuggle bug(: and Loki was rambunctious like all orange tabby’s are. Taylor was more quiet and to herself but came around for her daily treat and snuggle. This was a wonderful house sit that we wouldn’t think twice about returning to!

EVERYTHING, we mean EVERYTHING was just perfect!!! 3 cats with 3 different personalities were fun to observe and we were there long enough to figure them out. House was new so all was clean and comfy. New lap pool but weather for us was cool so not able to really enjoy. Screened lanai made it very comfortable to hang outside. Great bike/walking path and area pretty close to all you would need. James and Eileen were very friendly and comfortable to be around. We would definitely recommend and would be happy to return. Jim and Eileen are just lovely people, warm and welcoming. They have a lovely comfortable new home in rotonda west with 3 kitties, all different and sweet. Eileen gave me detailed info re their care, easy, Taylor, the older calico, will come for strokes around the head and leave when done, Loki, the ginger cat, loves lots of cuddles, and belly rubs, and, likes to rest up in cat tree. Tucker the younger black cat, who was a rescue, took awhile to warm up to me but then turned into a cuddle bunny too. I enjoyed sitting out on the pool deck especially in the evening, looking out over the lake with the sun going down and the kitties running around. A very pleasant sit. Thank you Eileen and Jim.
