Modern Studio in Historic Downtown Jersey City-minutes from Manhattan
Introduction
I am a retired teacher who loves to travel and spend time with my family. I moved to Jersey City from Texas almost a year ago and love how walkable it is here. My two grown daughters live in Manhattan and Jersey City. They will be available to help troubleshoot if any problems arise while you are here. I have two small dogs and a cat. My pets mean the world to me and I am happy that they can stay at home where they are most comfortable! One of my dogs is a recently adopted rescue, and while she is now fully house-trained and leash trained she will need a little extra patience. *I WOULD PREFER SITTERS TO BE FULLY VACCINATED FOR COVID.

I live in a studio apartment in Jersey City. I have a Murphy bed which helps make the most out of the space. There is a fully functioning kitchen and even a desk area if you need to work from home. A washer and dryer are also in my unit. My apartment is in an excellent location! I walk everywhere! There are several coffee shops and places to eat minutes from the apartment. The PATH station is a short walk away at Newark and Grove. Take it to the World Trade Center to see the 911 Memorial as well as explore the Financial District of Manhattan. From the WTC walk to Fulton Station and you can catch a subway to anywhere in NYC. You can also walk to the ferry, in the Paulus Hook neighborhood. It is only $7 to ride over the Manhattan. The Newark Avenue Pedestrian Plaza is an easy 11 minute walk and has lots of dining and shopping opportunities.

*Walk Betsy and Peaches at least 3 times per day. I walk them in the morning when we wake up. I usually take her again around 1 or 2:00, then an evening walk before bedtime. The times can be adjusted and you can add more walks if you want. They love walking in the city! If you are going out for the day to explore the city, just put a pad down for them in the bathroom. *Feed dog and cat twice per day *Give fresh water once per day *Clean litter box daily *Clean up after any pet accidents *Water plants as directed. I will let you know if I need you to water them during your stay. All the pets sleep with me at night. No crates!

I felt like I was in literal big little angels heaven, spending time with Mr Perkins, Betsy and Peaches. 3 beautiful little souls, with different personalities. I love them all to pieces. See you soon little babies

Our stay at Dolores' was lovely and entertaining !!! Her apartment is well furnished, clean, and actually quite spacious ! The Crew, composed of Betsy, Peaches and Mr. Perkins, is a fun, endearing and original one. Betsy is little furball bursting with energy and curiosity, she is super friendly with anyone she comes across and is always down for a game of fetch ! Peaches is pretty much the opposite, much more reserved and cautious, but she is sooo cute and adorable, she'll make your heart melt! Mr. Perkins, despite being old is still active and didn't hesitate to ask for cuddles or food, and seems to be the wise old pet (only missing a long grey beard). All in all, it was a great time, the building also has a rooftop, and is not far away from the Path station. Thank you again Dolores and the crew, for this chance and this lovely time !

Betsy, Peaches and Mr. Perkins were delightful and friendly! Dolores was very easy to work with and the apartment was comfy. Jersey City and Hoboken are simple to navigate on foot and with Citi bikes. You’ll enjoy the fun restaurants and cute cafes nearby. It’s an easy 40 min transit ride to Manhattan. Highly recommend to those wanting to enjoy the big city.

We had such a great time at Dolores’ house. Mr. Perkins, Betsy and Peaches are lovely, the place is beautiful, comfortable and very well located. The view from the rooftop is amazing.
