Pascal (architect) and Saloua (fashion designer). We are a married couple in our mid 40s, lovers of nature and travelling and have two little babies (Neo- a loving 2 years old black cat and Eko-an adorable golden retriever 4 years old). We would like to keep on travelling with the peace of mind knowing that our two little furry babies are being taken care of, hence we joined this site.

We are looking for a sitter that beyond all, loves animals, and that are clean and tidy. Responsibilities will be feeding our dog and cat, give them loads of love, and walk a minimum of 3 times a day our dog (morning, mid day and evening) Preferably looking for a couple +50, with own car, and that is in the area or nearby countries before our dates, and with at least 5 reviews. Applications with no reviews, under 30, no car, or willing to come with children or own pets will be declined immediately.

What a pleasure it was to look after Eko and Neo and to spend time in Saloua and Pascal's beautiful home. Eko is a loving Golden who loves to go for walks in the countryside around his home, chase stones, have tummy rubs, be brushed and, of course, eat! He's smart, accommodating (he fit easily to our schedule without any fuss) and a delight to care for. Neo is a charismatic, funny, independent black cat who also loves a tummy or head rub (on his terms, of course, he's a cat!). Saloua and Pascal's home is stunning, stylish, warm and welcoming - as are they! Communication leading up to the sit and throughout was easy. There was a handy hand-over document with all the useful information required, both for the animals and the local area. Our accommodation was very comfortable and we enjoyed a nice lunch together before waving them off on holiday. We feel very lucky to have spent our Christmas and New Year with Eko and Neo in such a lovely setting. Thank you all!

Saloua and Pascal are great hosts. They are very friendly and gave us a warm welcome on our arrival the day before the sit started. Saloua showed us around and explained everything we needed to know to care for the house and the two boys Neo and Eko. Saloua and Pascal even invited us for dinner and we had a very pleasant time eating and chatting together that evening. The house is beautiful and offers all you need to feel comfortable and at home. It has a spacious terrace with magnificent views over Lake Neuchatel. We probably spent most of our time during the sit on the terrace admiring the scenerie. For the more enterprising character, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Cycling along the lake, hiking, visiting and exploring Bern, Estavayer, Murten... As to the pets: Neo - a tiny little black tomcat. Easy to care. Very self-sufficient; comes and goes as he pleases. Nevertheless, likes cuddling very much (second to food) and asks for it. We were more than willing to obey :-) . So cute. Eko - a handsome friendly golden retriever. He loves retrieving stones; no pieces of wood or branches. Just stones! He is a great swimmer and diver too. We had a good time together in Lake Neuchatel. He does fetch stones in the lake as well and to no end. Eko also likes walks and is very good and well behaved with other dogs. We took him off-leash and on-leash. Hint: always carry along some treats and of course stones to get his full attention. Thank you so much for sharing your house and pets. We highly recommend this sit.
