Small dog and backyard chickens
Introduction
Hi! We are a family of 6. With our dog, chickens, and garden. we love staying home. For a family trips without the dog, we feel it’s best to leave Remi comfortable at home since we don’t leave often! We’d love to have someone at our home so that the chicken eggs are also collected daily.

2 story home with 4 bedrooms. Queen size bed in master bedroom. Main floor laundry. 2 acre yard with vegetable garden. Close to many hiking trails and bike trails. Local small town restaurants.

Remi has 1/2 cup of food in The morning, and 1/2 cup food in the evening. Fresh water daily. He can be walked on his leash daily. He loves running around the yard playing fetch with his ball, or fetch down the hallway on the main floor with his many toys. We have a vegetable garden outdoors that may need watering depending on rainfall (we will communicate about this) no need in the fall/winter months! Chicken eggs need to be collected daily, and make sure their water and food is topped up. The food bucket can last up to a week without needing to be filled again. So minimal needs for the chickens.

This was one of my favorites sits so far. Remi was terrific company and as sweet a dog as you could meet. He is easy to take care of, willing to go out anytime you’d like and just wander around the yard safely while you collect the eggs from the chickens nests. Honestly, I talk a lot, and the chickens would come to the screened coup and chat with me. Emily and the kids greeted me when I came for prior visit and made me feel right at home. Emily gave me all the information I needed to make this sit go well, I enjoyed every minute of my time there.

Remi was so cute, fun and adorable - and a cuddler! It was an enjoyable visit and loved the area, the clean crisp New England air, lovely home and beautiful surroundings. Highy recommended!

The care and instructions for taking care of the animals was well delivered. Emily was very responsive. Beautiful rural setting. We enjoyed their dog Remi who warmed up quickly and will be missed! The chickens were right on schedule day and night - we enjoyed having eggs for many breakfasts! Very nice home and family fully recommend.
