2 Cute Dogs and a Detatched House
Introduction
Hi! We are Adam and Celeste. We love to travel and explore new areas in the UK but occasionally we do like to see more of the world and unfortunately we can't take our dogs with us. When we're away we want to give others the opportunity to share our home and have some fun with the dogs. Adam works as a film editor and Celeste is a support manager at a University. We both work from home the majority of the time which we love as it gives us the opportunity to hang out with our 2 Jack Russel crosses, Mia and Deedee. We both love taking the dogs for walks in the local area as we're lucky to live near some really beautiful places. Mia and Deedee love spending their days playing, and sleeping after a good walk. We're looking for a caring sitter who can give Mia and Deedee lots of love and cuddles whilst we are away. We can usually be flexible on sit dates as we'd prefer to book our holidays once we've found the right sitter.

We live in a 3 bedroom detached house with a large secure and private garden on a quiet street in North Luton. Our house is clean with no maintenance needs. We have all the usual appliances, dishwasher, washing machine, bean to cup coffee machine, bath and shower etc, superfast broadband and large smart TV. All rooms are a good size, a large kitchen diner with table, 2 double bedrooms and a smaller bedroom that we use as an office. The lounge has large windows and patio doors out to the garden, a little working area with desk and computer, piano and wood burning stove for cosy nights in with plenty of wood in the coal cupboard. We also have a garage with gym set up, including punchbag, rowing machine and treadmill. The garden is very private due to the surrounding trees and gets the sun all day. There's a patio area with a large gas bbq, table and chairs, fruit trees (please help yourself to fruit if it's in season) and a nice lawn. We also have a small courtyard to the side of the house. Garden is completely secure so the dogs can safely be let out to play. The area we live in is quiet with a great park, small wood and cricket field less than 5 mins walk which is a great place to take the dogs for a quick walk. We're also really close to countryside, with hills and woodlands only a 15 min walk away. We especially love being so close to natural beauty spots including Pegsdon and Barton Hills, Dunstable Downs, Sharpenhoe Clappers and the Chilterns. There's plenty of long and beautiful walks to do with the dogs. We can leave lots of local information, places to visit and restaurant suggestions. The trendy and historic market town of Hitchin which offers great independent shops, lots of lovely cafes and old pubs, is just a short drive or bus ride away. Our house is approx 30 mins walk from the town centre and the train station, with very regular and fast trains into London (25 mins into King's X St Pancras) we're also about 10 mins drive from M1 and the airport (but you wouldn't know it as we're not on the flight path) so very easy to get to and travel from.

We are looking for someone to look after our 2 small dogs whilst we are away. Both dogs are very gentle and loving and are very easy to look after. Sitters will need to take them on a long walk at least once a day, or 2 shorter walks per day - there's lots of really beautiful places nearby to take them and we can leave information on the best places to walk. Dogs are fine to be left alone in the house for short periods but please do not leave them for more than 4 hours at a time! Their usual routine is to have breakfast at around 9 (they will patiently wait until you get up), a walk in the countryside in the morning, snooze in their beds during the day and dinner at 5pm. They like to spend the evenings playing with each other and having a good cuddle with you on the sofa. Mia (jack russel / chihuahua cross) is a very sweet girl, she loves playing and is very good around children. She can sometimes be nervous of larger dogs out on walks but loves a good game of chase with any smaller dogs she meets. DeeDee (jack russel / padenco cross) is a quiet boy, he loves to sleep, have his belly rubbed, do some treat training, and just wants to say hello to every dog he sees. He can sometimes be a little nervous around toddlers. Both dogs have good recall and know how to sit (along with plenty of tricks), go to their beds and go toilet on command. The house has got all the usual appliances you would need, there isn't really anything we will need you to do to take care of the house, just water the plants when they look thirsty and keep the house secure!

Celeste and Adam are great hosts, very hospitable, friendly and straightforward people. I really enjoyed taking care of their puppies, Mia and Deedee, who are such funny, sweet and entertaining characters! I miss my little guys already. They are also incredibly easy to take care of. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with lots of green areas to explore around. The house is lovely, tidy and comfortable. It has anything that you could need really. I highly recommend a visit here!

You are the best! Since the moment we met via video I knew we were a good fit! Working with you was so comfortable and easy. You communicated so timely and clearly and my stay in your home was heavenly. I felt so at home and had everything I needed. I would love to housesit for Celeste & Adam again and consider them new friends!

Adam and Celeste were both very welcoming and accommodating, and Mia and DeeDee were great dogs, really well behaved and generally easy to look after, with lovely (and very distinct) personalities. It wasn't too long before we had been totally won over by them. The house was great, with plenty of space, a great kitchen and an amazing garden full of fruit trees. The home grown plums were a delicious treat! The home gym was also a fun addition to our time there. Even without a car it wasn't too bad getting around (although it definitely would have been easier if we had been driving). But there were some nice parks nearby to walk the dogs in, and a pretty well stocked shop just round the corner, and town was still only half an hour away by foot. Thanks for a great sit!

Deedee and Mia were the cutest dogs... They are both beautiful pets. Deedee being the chilled one who would cuddle up on the sofa with you and Mia being the playful one... Loved watching them both have a play fight everyday... They are both very active, love going for a walk... also love waking up in bed with us... burying themselves under the blanket... Moments we will miss... Easy pets... Celeste and Adam we very inviting... Very friendly... Gave us all the information we needed. They provided us a homely setting. Their home is located around many green walks, also close to town centre for some varied food options.
