Adorable, kid-loving Jack Russell invites you to his home in Swiss countryside
Introduction
Hi, Stan, myself and my daughter Sophia live in Switzerland in the region of Fribourg which is in the countryside between lake LĂ©man and Bern. We are both professional classical musicians and therefore sometimes travel quite a bit individually all around Switzerland, Europe and the world doing and organising concerts with various ensembles. I am a professional cellist and Stan a professional trombonist. Sophia lives with us, aged 20 and is studying at the moment. Stan now being retired has more time to travel and we are trying to see more of the world together and would like to go on holiday occasionally to visit family and friends abroad as well. We own a Parson Jack Russell, Skye who is 3 years old. He is very affectionate, has boundless energy and adores playing and going for walks. He unfortunately was bitten on 2 occasions when he was a puppy and is therefore quite frightened of other dogs and doesn't unfortunately therefore like them generally speaking and reacts aggressively towards them when they approach. This is problematic for finding someone to look after him but so far we have managed and whoever does looks after him fall in love with him and want him back again and again.

We live in a quiet cul-de-sac in a beautiful Canadian-style, open plan house surrounded by a beautiful garden (with sauna) which is entirely fenced in for the dog. The house has a covered veranda which overlooks the valley and the mountains in the distance. The interior of the house is on split levels so 4 small flights of stairs in the middle of the house that take you everywhere you need to go. There are 5 rooms of which we use 2 as bedrooms, two as a guest bedrooms/studies and a fifth as a music room. The main bathroom is located on the top floor fitted with a walk-in Italian type shower area. On top of those rooms which are basically situated on level 1 and 2 we have on the entrance level a kitchen and dining area, then just slightly below a large sitting room area. in the cellar area we have Stan's study and the downstairs bathroom as well as storage area and a technical heating room area. At the exterior of the house as well as the garden on several levels we also have a garden shed as well as covered area for 3 parked cars with a charging station for electric vehicles.

Hi, Skye is very easy-going but he does like to go out in the garden lots as well as having one or 2 walks per day. He gets up around 7.30am and shakes his head, flapping his ears to shows you that he needs to go out for his morning business. We simply let him out into the garden having checked that the gate is shut ! He sleeps on his bed in our bedroom but loves to join us after the dawn chorus and sleeps at the foot of our bed until it's time to get up. We feed him 2 times a day, once in the morning, first thing and then around 6-7pm. He should do his last poo after supper but generally he needs to be taken out for this on th elead as after dark he gest too excited by all the wild animals (foxes etc) roaming around and then forgets to do his business if left simply in the garden. However he hates going out if it's raining: Sometimes we need to push him out if this is the case , first thing in the morning. Skye who is 3 years old. We would love you to keep the gardened watered if if doesn't rain. there are 2 hoses for this that reach all round the garden on all the different levels.
