2 cute, cuddly, low maintenance cats in a 4 bedroom house in West Sussex

Introduction

Hi! My wife Louise and I along with our 2 young kids Leo and Sofia are looking for someone/a couple to come and housesit at our home in Rudgwick, West Sussex for a couple of weeks to look after the 2 most important members of our family....our cats Aksel and Anja! A combination of maternity leave and a career break mean that we have a rare opportunity to take a slightly longer holiday than normal and we would really like to keep A&A out of the cattery (which they don't have a particular fondness for) and in their home.

Home & location

Our home is a lovely 4 bed new build situated in the sleepy West Sussex village of Rudgwick. We have a secluded garden perfect for sitting outside in the sun and reading or having a BBQ (if the weather allows). The house is only a couple of years old so benefits from all the amenities you would expect. Bath/Showers, Kitchen/Dinning Room, Lounge, TV/Netflix, Very Fast Internet. Rudgwick is nestled at the foot of the Surrey Hills so there is lots to do outdoors. We have a lovely local cafe (the Milkchun), brewery (Firebird) and shop (Coop) all within walking distance along with some lovely pubs. Great walks in the Southdown's and the popular south coast seaside resorts of Worthing and Littlehampton are only 45 mins away in the car. The closet major town is Horsham (around 20 mins by car) or Cranleigh (10 mins by car). Horsham has a major train station with access into London. There is a bus service which runs through Rudgwick which accesses Horsham, Cranleigh and Guildford. Our spare bedroom features a double bed.

Responsibilities

These are 2 very low maintenance kitties but they love having people around. Feeding twice a day (morning and evening) with wet cat food and then making sure their dry biscuit and water bowls are kept topped up. They are out most of the night and asleep most of the day. We have a cat flap so it is easy access for them in and out of the house. We like to keep the kitchen door closed overnight (the kitcken is where the catflap is) so they dont disturb you with their night time exploits but free to roam throughout the house wherever they fancy during the day. Plants and garden watered would be very helpful as well.
