Housesitters required for our two lovely dogs, Charlie and Eric.
Introduction
My husband and I live in a farmhouse in Armentieux with my sister and her husband. We have lived here for nearly 6 years. We each have a working cocker. Our dog Charlie is golden, 12 years old and very affectionate. Very docile. Quite slow due to his age and going slightly deaf. Eric is 9, much more lively and inquisitive. They get on very well and love human contact.

The house is spacious with 3 bedrooms, a study, lounge, dining room, laundry, 4 bathrooms (one on the ground floor). Large kitchen. Driveway with covered parking, swimming pool. Large open garden. The sitters would stay in the guest bedroom which has its own bathroom. Armentieux is a small village situated between Marciac and Maubourguet. A car would be needed to get to shops/bars/restaurants etc.

Charlie and Eric are usually fed between 7-8am then go for a walk around the village. They’re very good off lead. Charlie sleeps a lot so sometimes doesn’t want to walk. Eric is always ready for a walk! They’re fed at about 3pm and then taken to the reservoir for a swim (Charlie loves it). Obviously if too hot we wait until it’s cooler. Charlie gets very excited at mealtime and has a big appetite. He spends most of the rest of the day sleeping. We have a number of pot plants and bonsai which will need watering.
