Comfy pet sitting close to culture and beautiful countryside
Introduction
We are a retired couple living in Solihull, West Midlands. Our main interests are walking, enjoying time with our family and being creative. We have two small pets, a cat, Bertie and a very small dog, Hugo. We join THS to ensure that they can relax in their own home while we take brief holidays.

Our home is in a suburb of Solihull. We are very close to the city of Birmingham, which has excellent travel links by rail and air. We have all the facilities that you would expect; good internet connection, a private garden, a bedroom reserved for the use of visitors. There are a wealth of things to do here, we have local shops and supermarkets plus cafes and a park in easy walking distance. There are theatres, cinema and galleries all easily reached by public transport. Many more sporty activities are close and can be reached by bus, for example swimming and gyms. We are on the doorstep of the lovely Warwickshire countryside and we have many maps and suggested walks for house sitters to use, a car really isn't required here.

Morning feed Hugo and Bertie and give Hugo some exercise, same again in the afternoon. Bertie was a rescue cat and spends most of this time outdoors, he is quite nervous and you're unlikely to see much of him. He loves to be brushed! He also likes fuss when he gets to know you. Hugo is an easy going boy, he loves exercise, you'd be amazed how far he can walk and run on those little legs!! He very undemanding and although he loves company and cuddles on the settee, he will stay home alone while you are out and about, but preferably not every / all day. He is a rehomed dog but has great recall and responds to requests to sit etc. Both pets are neutered. There is no requirement to care for the garden and other than keep your own things tidy the house.

Margaret and her husband were very kind and sweet They have made me feel comfortable while I’m staying ☺︎ Hugo was extremely friendly, gentle and loves walking! He walks very happily 😆 We enjoyed playing with balls There was a nice park for walking near their house, I also liked their beautiful calm town Thank you so much for everything, Margaret and Roger🌷

Margaret and Roger are really special people and this was a delightful housesit. Hugo is the funniest little thing and a pleasure to look after. We only saw Bertie a few times but they were both absolutely no trouble. We also really loved exploring Birmingham and eating lots of chocolate at the Cadbury factory! Would highly recommend this sit. Thank you so very much Margaret and Roger xxx
