Nearby shopping includes target, grocery stores, etc. Tons of food options within a short drive. Our neighborhood has a public park to walk around in with a lake/pond to fish in if you like to do so. Public transport nearest our house is the MARTA bus which can take you to many other bus stops, trains, etc. Ubers and Lyfts are also plentiful.

Pet Descriptions: BIRDIE: Birdie is our great Pyrenees/german shepherd mix and she is about 2.5 years old. She usually barks at people upon first meeting but warms up quickly, especially with pets, and a warm/friendly attitude. She loves toys- especially her Glow Balls - treats, and playing keep away outside. She can be persnickety with her food- she takes a while to eat it sometimes. It's cruel but we think she likes to brag to the other animals that she has food. Birdie is fully housetrained and crate trained. BO: We adopted Bo in November 2022. He is our newest pet. BO IS SHY. He will take at least an hour to warm up to you/come near you. Once you've won him over, he is the sweetest, cuddliest, cutest boy. He loves playing outside, treats, snuggles, pets, etc. He is a really great dog, just shy from a bad previous owner experience we assume (he is not aggressive- he will just run/hide from you and sometimes bark). He loves to play with Birdie and even the cats at times. Bo eats all of his food within about a minute of putting it on the floor. He is about 85% potty trained- with most accidents involving #2 (he needs to go out within about 20 min of eating meals) HAN: Luke and Han have been in my life since 2015 when they were about 5 months old. Han is a 7.5-year-old orange tabby cat. He weighs about 17 pounds. Extremely friendly and vocal. Loves pets, treats, catnip, etc. He will try to run outside (so will Luke if he's feeling ambitious). Han enjoys being held to a certain extent but will let you know when he wants down. Will definitely sit on a warm lap and if you have food he will try to smell it or even steal it, so be forewarned. LUKE: 7.5-year-old orange tabby cat- biological brother of Han. Pretty shy but very friendly. Does not enjoy treats. Does not like being held. He enjoys dry cat food, water, and the occasional scratch. He is the simplest animal we own. We love him. ALL: Allowed on furniture- dogs usually sleep in our room with us (sometimes on the bed) but they won't be hurt if you want to stretch your legs and kick them off. Potty time: We let the dogs out numerous times a day, probably too many (they run our lives). However, if you need to go somewhere- they are fine in their crates for up to 4 hours comfortably. They usually let you know when they need to go out (especially Birdie). Medicines: Birdie takes Apoquel (pill) once per day. I usually just shove it down her throat as insane as that sounds. She enjoys a treat after she swallows her pill! Cats' litter box gets cleaned daily. Feedings: Cats get one cup each of their respective foods at around 6 or 7 pm- we close them in the laundry/bathrooms while they eat so they know its time to eat and so the dogs can't steal their food. Dogs get fed twice per day, around 9am and 6/7pm. Both get one cup in the morning, Birdie gets two in the evening and Bo gets one (again) in the evening. We have a few houseplants that could use some water about once a week. You probably won’t have to tend to these while we are gone.

We had an absolutely wonderful time with these four charming pets. Although we had heard that Bo could be a bit reserved, he proved to be the most affectionate dog, constantly seeking cuddles. It was truly delightful! Abby and Wesley were excellent communicators, and despite not having the opportunity to meet due to everyone's busy schedules, it didn't pose any issues. Their home and patio were absolutely charming. We wholeheartedly recommend them !!

I loved getting to know Abby and Wesley before we agreed that I’d watch over their pets. Their home exudes their personality as a loving, adventurous, creative family and it’s very comfortable there. I loved spending time with Luke and Han on the screened porch while Birdie and Bo would enjoy the sunshine. Such joy in playing with any one of them inside or out. They are all sweet and playful animals which show endless love (and snoogles) with time! Abby was very communicative and generous as well. Much love!
