Introduction

Greetings, We are Lynn and Tom living in coastal Northern California. We are lucky enough to be going to Mongolia this summer for a horse trek that will take us to see the Reindeer and follow the Silk Road for more than a month on horseback. We are looking for caretakers for our six horses, two dogs, and two cats while we are gone. The location is coastal Northern California just outside of the Victorian Village of Ferndale. Eureka, a larger town with many services, is about 20 miles away. Mid-June to mid-August is a good time to visit the coast and experience the area and culture. It is an easy drive into town and we have cell service and internet access. Care is a daily activity requiring commitment and we have a community of friends that you can consult on care, as well as the features of the area. If you are a hiker, look to All Trails to research hikes in the Ferndale area. Our place is rural and private. We are about 13 miles from the ocean, and surrounded by rivers, mountains, and redwood forests. Please give the care some consideration. We recognize that the work and care is best shared amongst a couple. We are considerate ourselves and we are seeking people that value honesty, integrity, responsibility, compassion, and no drama.
