Introduction
Hi! My name is Vicki. I am an American who moved to Portugal almost 5 years ago with my dog Barkley. I am a kayaker and a cyclist. This is the perfect place for such activities. Barkley is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. She weighs about 30 kg. She is very loving once she gets to know you and feels safe. She is 13 years old. We both love living here in Carcavelos, just outside of Lisbon. We live about a 10 minute walk from a beautiful beach and at the mouth of the Tagus river. Our apartment is small but comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. We are also located close to the train station that runs from Lisbon to Cascias.

Barkley and I live in an apartment on the second level. The apartment is small but very comfortable and full of sunshine. We live in a quiet area that is walking distance to the train station and local restaurants and markets. We are a lovely 10 minute walk to Carcavelos beach. The apartment has an elevator. We are a 20 minute train ride into Lisbon or Cascias village.

Barkley needs at least 2 walks a day. Usually, one needs to be at least 30 minutes long. She gets fed once daily. She is not on any medications. I will leave the apartment clean and tidy. I expect that my apartment be clean for my return. I have only 2 plants and if I am gone longer than 2 weeks they will need watering.
