After a great experience as house sitters through THS (August 2023), my wife and I are looking for someone to care for our expertly trained Lab (and low-maintenance home) while we go on a cruise with family. I run a small executive recruiting firm, my wife helps small companies with finance & accounting challenges, and we lead a very active life in the northern suburbs of Atlanta.

Situated in a friendly swim/tennis neighborhood; easy walking distance to recreation area (with walking trails and dog park), grocery stores; 3 miles from national recreation area with miles of hiking trails and views of the Chattahoochee River; 3 miles from 9-mile bike path that meanders through woods and on boardwalks over creeks. Lyla is a small (52lb), extremely obedient, loveable and chill black lab. (She literally only barks once or twice a MONTH.) With us she is used 2 daily walks and a hike in the woods, and a romp with neighbor dogs most days. HOWEVER we don't think that's a realistic routine for a house sitter. We're thinking 1-2 short walks a day supplemented with a few hikes per week would suffice. Other than a few plants that need water, the house is pretty low maintenance.

Wonderful sit! Scott and Suzanne were great hosts. Very organized, communicative, and welcoming. Lyla is just the best doggie ever. She is so well behaved it’s incredible. I absolutely loved taking her on leash free walks in the neighborhood and local state park. All the neighbors are helpful and nice. House was clean and bed super comfy! Thanks again. See you in June!
