Our house has three floors: there is a kitchen and a dining room downstairs, with the doors to the garden, plus a garage, storage room (with washing machine and the dryer) and a toilette. The kitchen is fully equipped (microwave, coffee machine, toaster etc). On the first floor there is a living room with a big TV (Netflix) and the master bedroom with the adjacent bathroom (with shower and bathtub). On the third floor there are two additional bedrooms (kids' bedroom, guest bedroom) and an office, plus an extra bathroom. The guestroom has a desk, so it can be used as an office space as well. The house is new and warm and has AC. The house is located at a quiet little street that ends with the little forest (Keyenbempt). There is a driveway to park the car. Public transport stops are located at the distance of five minutes walking: Egide Van Ophem stop for trams 4 and 97. Tram 4 will take you directly to the centre of Brussels in around 20-25 minutes, to the Midi Train Station in about 15 minutes. There are also buses nearby and the small train station Uccle Calevoet at 10 mins walking distance. Our location is really convenient, because everything you need is really close (a bakery, Colruyt supermarket 5 mins from home, a big shopping centre 5 mins by car, Parvis de Sant Pierre Uccle - shopping and restaurant quarter - is 2 tram stops away ), you can easily get to the city centre by tram, but at the same time you are close to promenade verte - the green belt of Brussels -and the rural, forest areas around the city (as we are close to the border with Flanders). Lovely little municipalities of Dilbeek, Beersel, Linkebeek etc are close and reachable by De Lijn buses. There are many possibilities for hiking in the area.
